Preliminary Study On The Flora And Vegetation Map Of Desert In Junggar Basin

The Junggar Basin is the only desert area affected by the Arctic Ocean airflow in China.Its species composition and abundance are significantly different from other desert areas.This research is of great significance.This paper is focused in the desert area of the Junggar Basin in northern Xinjiang,China.Through the field investigation in 2017-2018,data collection,the method of collecting specimens and the digital statistical method,the composition of the desert flora in the Junggar Basin and the geographical composition of the family,as well as the plant life type and ecology are analyzed.According to a large number of data sources,the current vegetation map of the Junggar Basin was compiled by means of 3S technology,and the desert flora in various areas of the Junggar Basin were compared and the vegetation groups,vegetation types and groups in the desert area of the Junggar Basin were classified and compared.A comparative analysis of the 2007 version of the 1:1 000 000 China Vegetation Map(the changes in the Junggar Basin Desert Group and the 2017-2018 Junggar Basin Desert Group).This has great reference value and research significance for the economic,ecological and hydrological aspects of the Junggar Basin.After the thorough research,these are the conclusions:1.There are 49 families,253 genera and 768 species of seed plants in Junggar Basin desert.2.At the genus level,monotypic genus and minor genus are the main components of the fauna structure.3.Among the non-world distribution types of desert seed plants in the Junggar Basin,temperate components are dominant,The temperate distribution of families and genera accounted for 52.19%and 50.88%of the non-world distribution,respectively.4.The life forms of desert seed plants in the Junggar Basin are mainly herbaceous plants,accounting for 79.81%of the total species;the ecotypes are mainly xerophytes,accounting for 78.64%of the total species.5.According to the vegetation map,there are 1 vegetation type group,6 vegetation types and 24 groups in the Junggar Basin in 2017-2018,which is larger than the Junggar Basin desert group in the 2007 China Vegetation Map(1:1 000 000).2 vegetation type,5 groups,a total of 1 vegetation type,34 groups,this phenomenon may be related to human development and utilization.In 2017-2018,the area of the desert in the Junggar Basin was 1.59×107 hm2,which was a decrease of 1.83><106 hm2 compared with the desert area of the Junggar Basin in 2007.
