In order to understand the resistance to 9 kinds of commonly used antibacterial drugs and 3 kinds of disinfectants and the carrying of related genes of Staphylococcus aureus derived from different pig farms in Aksu Region of Xinjiang,Staphylococcus aureus was isolated from 5 different farms in Aksu Region. The minimum inhibitory concentrations of Staphylococcus aureus from anal swabs, nasal swabs and environmental samples were determined by agar dilution method.Six kinds of 10 resistant genes include quinolones-resistance gene(gyrA),tetracycline-resistance genes(tetA and tetB),florfenicol-resistance genes(fexA and cfr),lincomycin-resistant gene(ermA),aminoglycoside-resistance genes(aac(6')-Ib and ant(3')-I),glycopeptide-resistance genes(vanA and vanB)and two disinfectant resistance genes(qacA/B and qacC)were detected by PCR.The test results were as follows:(1)413 strains(15.9%,413/2596)of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from pig farms in Aksu Region were sensitive to amikacin and vancomycin, and the drug resistance rate were below 25.0%,and the drug resistance rate to 7 other tested antibiotics were more than 50.0%.The multidrug resistance test results revealed that the resistance strains were mainly resistant to 7-drugs(21.1%,87/413)and 8-drugs(17.9%,74/413).The drug resistance rate of the tested strains to the povidone-iodine and trichloroisocyanuric acid powder disinfectants were over 95.0%,and it was sensitive to benzalkonium bromide, but has a high intermediary rate,up to 53.3%.The multidrug resistance test results revealed that the resistance strains were mainly resistant to 2-drugs(96.6%,399/413).(2)The detection rate of drug-related resistance genes of Staphylococcus aureus in Aksu Region were as follows:fexA(70.0%,289/413),gyrA(10.4%,43/413),ant(3")-I(5.1%,21/413),ermA(4.6%,19/413),tetB(3.9%,16/413),vanB(1.7%,7/413),cfr(1.5%,6/413),vanA(1.0%,4/413),aac(6')-Ib(0.5%,2/413),the combination of gyrA+fexA(7.3%,30/413)was dominant, and no tetA gene was detected. Both disinfectant-resistant genes were detected, with a qacC detection rate of 20.6%(85/413)and a qacA/B detection rate of 1.2%(5/413).Conclusion:Staphylococcus aureus from swine in Aksu Region of Xinjiang is highly resistant to the tested antibiotics and disinfectants. The coexistence of drug resistance genes and the detection of bacterial strains carrying disinfectant resistance genes suggest that more efforts should be made to monitor the drug resistance and related genes of antibiotics and disinfectants in pig farms, and more attention should be paid to the research on the mechanism of drug resistance of antibiotics and disinfectants.
