With the advantage of unconditional security,quantum communication technology has attracted widespread attention from scholars in various fields and countries all over the world.At present,quantum secret communication technology based on quantum key distribution is the fastest growing branch of quantum communication technology,and it has entered the stage of large-scale networking.Quantum secure communication network is inseparable from quantum key management.A reasonable key management scheme can improve the practical performance of the network in terms of security,balance of link resource utilization,and key utilization efficiency.Besides,key technical issues of end-to-end communication in the network,such as the security of key relaying,the efficiency of key generation,and end-to-end delay,are important research contents in the application of quantum secure communication networks.Therefore,this thesis mainly studies quantum key management technology,and proposes an end-to-end communication method in quantum metropolitan area network.Firstly,this thesis introduces the research status of quantum key distribution technology and quantum secure communication network.Secondly,basis of quantum secure communication,typical protocols and related theories of quantum secure communication networks are introduced.Thirdly,we conducts the following research on quantum metropolitan area network:1.A quantum key management model is proposed.On the basis of quantum secure communication network architecture,we study the technologies in quantum key management such as key storage,key synchronization,key use strategy,etc,and propose a three-layer key management model including resource management,routing control and policy control.In the policy control,a dynamic selection of quantum key encryption strategy for instant communication is proposed.Finally,the key management of quantum metropolitan area network and dynamic selection strategy is simulated,and the result shows that the strategy improves the key utilization and maintains good communication performance even when the link resources are deficient.2.The end-to-end communication method is studied.According to the performance requirements of quantum metropolitan area network,we design the network node and network model.On this basis,an end-to-end key generation method and an end-to-end communication method are proposed.In this method,trusted relay uses buffer queue polling to process packets.Finally,the simulations on end-to-end key generation and end-to-end communication of quantum metropolitan area network are completed.Besides,performance optimization of end-to-end communication is realized by combining the dynamic selection of quantum key encryption strategy.The result shows that this method reduces the communication delay and call loss rate,and improves the network performance and security.At the end of the thesis,we summarize the works,analyze the shortcomings of the work,and propose suggestions for next work.
