At present,there are some defects in the volume and power consumption of toxic and harmful gas concentration detection products in China,so the research and design of low-power,small size and high-precision toxic and harmful gas concentration detection system has been widely concerned by industry and academia.In this paper,based on the existing products and technologies,we can improve the adaptability to harsh environment and reduce the power consumption of the whole machine,so as to further protect human health and life safety.This paper first reviews the status and development of gas sensors,introduces the related research of toxic and harmful gas detection technology at home and abroad,and describes its future development direction.On this basis,the related technologies including beer Lambert law,TDLAS detection technology and molecular spectrum theory are studied,and the detailed theoretical basis of spectral absorption technology used in the process of methane concentration detection is deeply understood.Based on the analysis of the advantages,disadvantages and core principles of various types of sensing technology,the research ideas and overall scheme of laser methane sensor in this paper are given.Based on the study of the existing methane sensors,this paper designs a low-power laser methane sensor which is composed of main control part,power supply part,laser driver part and laser receiving part;further analyzes the accuracy of the design and the interference of external environment,and introduces compensation mechanism to ensure the accuracy of measurement;aiming at the low-power demand of coal mine and other specific environment,the low-power laser methane sensor is designed To achieve the low power consumption performance of the whole machine,such as optical power supply,main board power supply and time-sharing start-up.After completing the hardware and software design of the mine laser methane sensor,the technical indicators required by the national standard are tested,including stability test,methane gas concentration test,sensor power consumption test,remote power supply test and sensor system response time measurement.The experimental results show that the mine laser methane sensor designed in this paper can run stably and measure accurately,and achieve the expected design goal.
