Since the astronomical observation of the accelerated expansion of the universe in 1998,dark energy has been proposed as one of the theoretical conjectures to explain this phenomenon.At the same time,"what is dark energy" has become one of the most urgent problems in cosmology.Among the many models of dark energy,the chameleon model with screening mechanism is one of the representative models,so it is of very important scientific significance to use experiments to detect it.Due to the vacuum detection environment of the atom interferometer and the small size of the atom used as the test mass,atom interferometer can reduce the screening effect of the chameleon field in the experiment to detect the chameleon theory,so it has obvious advantages.This article introduces the basic form of the motion equation of the chameleon field and its simplified expression under non-relativistic conditions,as well as the coupling relationship between the chameleon field and matter.Taking the special case of spherical source mass as an example,the paper analyzes the chameleon field and studies the screening mechanism of the chameleon field.For a more general situation,I have developed a set of numerical methods to solve the chameleon field in the research process.Based on this,this paper analyzes the scheme of the atom interferometer to detect the chameleon field,and studies the influence of the source mass parameters on the accuracy of the chameleon field test.Aiming at the scheme of atom interferometry to detect the chameleon field,this article first investigates the experimental method of the free-falling atom interferometer to detect the chameleon field,and derives the phase shift of the matter wave interference caused by the chameleon field.Through theoretical analysis,the influence of the chameleon field on the Bloch oscillation frequency of the atoms in the optical lattice is calculated,and the scheme of using the atom interferometer in the optical lattice to detect the chameleon field is proposed.The source mass is a key part of the experimental scheme of the atom interferometry to detect the chameleon field.In this paper,through simulation calculations,the influence of core parameters such as the radius,thickness,density,deviation distance from the center of the vacuum cavity,and the radius of the laser hole of the spherical and cylindrical source masses on the experiment is studied in the chameleon field detection scheme of atom interferometry.In this study,a set of numerical simulation calculation methods was developed for the atom interferometry to detect the chameleon field,which is expected to provide important support for the atom interferometry to detect the chameleon field and the selection of source mass parameters.
