With the shortage of water resources and the increase of water pollution becoming more and more serious,the rational development of marine resources and seawater desalination projects are becoming a general trend.However,pollution problems represented by organic pollution,oil pollution and algae pollution frequently occur in the coastal waters of our country.The water quality near the water intake is constantly threatened.For an established,fixed desalination process system,if effective pretreatment measures are not taken in time,the water quality will not meet the requirement of seawater desalination process,then the desalination process will be severely affected and will cause adverse effects such as short-term water cuts.In the post-epidemic era,water safety is an issue of people's livelihood.To ensure the smooth progress of seawater desalination projects,proper pretreatment is essential.When the water quality fluctuates,it is difficult to meet various pollution situations with only a fixed set of treatment processes.At this time,a sound screening and evaluation system is required to rationally screen the existing pretreatment technologies according to the type of water pollution,and determine which one is suitable for the current water quality.Focusing on the main technical issues in the screening and evaluation of seawater desalination pretreatment processes,based on extensive investigations of domestic and foreign research results,this paper carried out studies on identification of coastal seawater pollution sources,establishment of screening and evaluation system for desalination pretreatment process,and development of decision support platform.Based on the research of knowledge base,the identification method of coastal seawater pollution source is established.Effectively identifying the type of pollution source based on the multi-dimensional water quality monitoring data can help prompt the rear water plant to choose the pretreatment process in a targeted manner.In order to identify the main pollution in the coastal water effectively and quickly,this study established a core seawater quality indicator analysis mechanism based on multivariate data mining technology and preliminary screening of pollutants exceeding the standard,which can parse the main pollution factors and core water quality indicators of the studied sea area.Based on the fuzzy category of expert knowledge,a pollution source category judgment tree and its 16 production rules were established;based on 52 industrial water pollution discharge standards,an industrial water pollution discharge standard library was designed,thereby forming a reasoning mechanism to accurately identify pollution sources.Based on the multi-attribute group decision-making theory,a screening and evaluation system for desalination pretreatment process was established.In this study,a desalination pretreatment process library is built,and a screening and evaluation index system for pretreatment process is established based on the characteristics of desalination pretreatment process.Then,the entropy weight method and technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution method(TOPSIS)are used to construct a desalination pretreatment process screening and evaluation model based on the multicriteria decision making theory.Meanwhile,a program design is implemented for suitable pretreatment process selection.Finally,the developed screening and evaluation model is applied to a case study to verify the feasibility of the method,and the results show that the developed screening and evaluation framework can effectively assist the screening and evaluation of desalination pretreatment process to provide a scientific decisionmaking.In terms of platform development,based on the existing research results,this study has designed and completed a support platform of screening and evaluation system for desalination pretreatment process,which includes three core functional modules: system management,pollution source identification management,and technology screening management.The platform is flexible and practical to operate,realizes the humancomputer interaction function,and can quickly assist industry experts to make the best decision,and it is convenient for environmental management departments and relevant staff in the field of desalination to carry out research work.The development of the platform is of positive significance for the application of the study results to the market and the expansion of the audience.
