| With the rapid development of the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence technology,cloud-based computing network is facing problems such as long distance transmission delay and limited backhaul link bandwidth.Under this background, edge computing technology emerges as the times require and has been widely concerned.Edge computing is a new computing model that advocates the sinking of resources and services, which can meet the increasing data demand within the network through faster service response. However, most of the current research on edge computing focuses on resource allocation such as task offloading or content caching, and ignores the basic economic issues such as whether edge computing resource owners are willing to participate in network computing and whether edge computing can effectively promote the development of network. In order to make up for this deficiency, this paper studies three kinds of edge computing network ecological models, analyzes the economic interaction behavior and game equilibrium of different groups in each model, and compares the differences of equilibrium solutions under different models through simulation results. For the scenario where edge computing resources are deployed by independent companies,a network ecological model is constructed, which includes four groups:content providers, service and infrastructure providers(network operators),edge source providers and mobile users. In this model, the utility and behavior patterns of users in ideal network environment(without considering network congestion and service waiting)and actual network scenarios(considering network congestion and service waiting)are considered respectively, and the basic model and extended model are correspondingly established.Furthermore,a two-stage Stackelberg game model is established for each model. The convex optimization method is used to analyze the optimal decision-making of each group, and the Nash equilibrium of the game is obtained by using the backward induction method.Through the simulation, the variation trend of the equilibrium strategy and utility of each group under the two models with the change of the parameters such as the construction cost of computing resources, service willingness, edge computing service rate and wireless link transmission rate in the network are observed respectively.Aiming at the scenario that edge computing resources are deployed by network operators and content providers, two kinds of network ecological models are constructed again. Both models take into account the change of the target utility of each group, respectively establish the new Stackelberg game model in the corresponding scene, and obtain the new game equilibrium based on the optimization method and backward induction method.Through the simulation, the influence of different resource deployment methods on the development of computing network is studied. The results show that the scheme that the edge computing resources are deployed by network operators has the best promotion effect on the data volume, income and other parameters of each group.Based on these three kinds of network ecological models, the comprehensive comparative analysis of network operator’s pricing strategy, network’s data service volume and network’s total revenue in each model is further realized. It is found that edge computing technology is always conducive to the growth of network traffic and total network revenue. In addition, this paper summarizes the market pricing scheme of network operators and the possible market form of the whole network after the edge computing resources enter the market, which proves the feasibility of the industrialization of edge computing technology, and provides theoretical support for the actual industrial deployment in the future. |
