This dissertation takes rigid retaining wall as the research object,combines engineering practice and literature data,and analyzes the stress state of the soil behind the wall.This dissertation describes the shape of the "soil arching" traces of the principal stress of the soil under the passive limit state,and proposes a more general distribution of the principal stress traces.This dissertation also uses the non-linear failure surface behind the wall and gives the expressions of the lateral earth pressure coefficient and shear stress coefficient that vary with the depth of the fill.In this dissertation,the log-spiral failure surface is specifically used,and the failure surface of the passive failure of the soil behind the wall is assumed to be logarithmic spiral to calculate the passive earth pressure of the curved failure surface.This dissertation takes limit equilibrium analysis as the main idea,introduces multiple parameter conditions,and derives the passive earth pressure calculation formulas of different forms of failure surfaces.In this dissertation,by specifying the conditions for solving the geotechnical parameters,designing an algorithm program,and obtaining multiple sets of expressions for the distribution and magnitude of the passive earth pressure behind the wall under different conditions.This dissertation analyzes and compares the influence of multiple factors on the distribution of passive earth pressure behind the wall,and discusses the parameters at the same time,including: failure surface shape,soil arching effect,variable lateral earth pressure coefficient,variable shear stress coefficient,and earth pressure calculation parameters.In addition,the problems of principal stress traces in the existing literature were discussed,and constructive opinions were given.This dissertation studies the analytical formula of passive earth pressure behind the wall under the condition of non-linear failure surface,considering different retaining wall deformation modes,different depths of soil failure angle,non-linear failure surface of the soil behind the wall,soil arching effect,and different Factors such as the expression of the formal principal stress trace and the coefficient of variable earth pressure.The passive earth pressure calculation method can solve the passive limit earth pressure distribution and magnitude in the entire depth range.From the results of case analysis and parameter discussion,the method in this dissertation can better reflect the distribution of passive earth pressure of the soil behind the wall under different working conditions,and can provide better theoretical guidance for the construction of the retaining wall.
