With more than 50 years development,Gangdong2nd area has entered into the late stage of development,that is,high water saturation and separate reser-voir distribution.At this stage,developing method needs to be more precision to identify the complex underlying structure,the micro fault,micro changes of rock physics in both vertical and horizontal directions.Traditional developing tech is dominated by well logs and geological information,while seismic data are only used to determine fault breakpoints and structures.The abundant litho-logical information and lateral advantages in seismic data are not sufficiently utilized.But if seismic interpretation,seismic inversion,and seismic attribute methods are comprehensively combined,it will provide more possibility in oilf-ield development.In this research,seismic methods are integrated in Gangdong 2nd area,res-earch process as follows:Structure interpretation and micro fault identification methods are used to describe fault system.Well logging data,geology informati-on is used to form the formation structure of the place.Then,inversion model is set up by seismic inversion method to identify sand distribution.Afterwards,attribute analysis is applied to characterize thickness of sand layers.And BP neural networks are used to identify water saturation of underlying horizons.Finally,high quality GEOMAPs which contain fault system,sand distribution,are formed and corrected by above research,can be used in fine reservoir des-cription.
