Igneous rock characterization and 3D geological modeling were conducted based on previous study to solve the problem of vague understanding of volcanic structure and preferred lithofacies during the current production phase of Carboniferous igneous reservoir in Xiquan 103 Wellblock.Based on the analysis of core,slice,logging and lab data,main lithology of study area was characterized as andesite,volcanic breccia,tuff breccia and tuff.Meanwhile,seven stocks were divided from the study stock based on the analysis of the combination of logging data and seismic data.Regional unconformity between study stock and its overlying Permian stock was identified based on the combination analysis of planar map,cross-section map,logging data and seismic data.Stock distribution pattern as a west moving boundary,lithofacies distribution pattern dominated by fissure eruption with central eruption,main lithofacies as eruption facies and flooding facies were also concluded from the above analysis.Intragranular pore was determined to be the main pore structure,followed by phenocryst pore,air hole and micro fracture,and tuff breccia and volcanic breccia were identified as main lithology of oil-bearing rock based on the analysis of logging and core data.Fracture mainly existed in non-reservoir andesite,serving as flow path.3D Geological modeling was conducted based on the above analysis to provide insightful geology understanding for later production phase.
