Quantum-dot cellular automata(QCA)is a typical technology of new micro nano electronic device.Theoretical research has been carried out by scholars on this field indepth,the development for QCA is similar to the process of the computer and digital integrated circuit,"from bottom to top",which is from the innovative design,the optimization of various performance parameters for basic logic gate unit to the system level architecture is the principle.Different from the traditional circuit,QCA utlizes the majority gates to replace the "and" "or " gates for logic synthesis,and the unique clock mechanism is utilized to divide the sequence of circuit.Compared with the transistor circuit,it has the advantages of lower power consumption,smaller waste of chip resources and high speed of signal conversion.The physical implementation of QCA circuit is also one of the valuable issues in this field.In this paper,the design focuses on the implementation of logic level based on the analysis of algorithm,test results for circuit are simulated and verified by the professional EDA tool QCA designer.The main idea of this paper is to construct and verify the theoretical system mathematical model of cryptography based on QCA for the first time,and some of new logic and arithmetic operation units have been designed successfully,two important branches of symmetric cryptography are focused on this paper,which are sequence cipher encryption and block cipher encryption.The core component of sequence cipher encryption circuit is random number generator(RNG).RNG itself has a wide range of applications in the modern cryptography system.Based on the research results in the finite filed of abstract algebra,this paper makes a rational application to the design method and ideas of QCA circuits,and based on the physical properties of QCA,a new true random number generator(TRNG)is successfully designed and verified in this paper.Compared with the previous researches,it has the simplified circuit structure and it is convenient for bit-expansion.Block ciphers are based on the algorithm model of classical SP structure,the arithmetic operation circuit in finite field is designed successfully,the design idea that is to match the characteristics of QCA circuit stem from the unique clock mechanism of itself.In the future,QCA may replace the transistors to design the hardware of circuits,facing this problem,this paper provides some standards and specifications for the research in this field.
