As one of the important functional areas of the university campus,the central area of the university campus is a dynamic space for displaying campus characteristics and promoting teacher-student communication.The outer space of the central area is an extension of the teaching and communication space inside the building,and the space is used frequently.The thermal comfort of the environment is one of the important indicators that determine the quality of user activities and the evaluation of the quality of the external space,especially in summer and winter in the Jiangnan area of China,where hot summer and cold winter is the main climatic feature,the improvement of the thermal comfort of the space environment has a positive effect on improving the environmental quality of the outer space of the university campus.This paper takes the spatial form of the central campus of Nanjing district as the research object,and uses the research methods of spatial form and microclimate,thermal environment and thermal comfort in urban design research,based on the development trend of human-oriented university campus environment.In-depth discussion and research on the correlation mechanism and optimization mode of the spatial shape and thermal comfort of the central campus area.In this paper,based on the research model of "proposing the problem-analyzing the problem-solving the problem",on the basis of the investigation of the current situation of the central campus of the university campus in Nanjing,it uses the external spatial morphological quantitative indicators for classification research to extract the ideal model of the central of the campus in Nanjing;The behavior research and thermal environment measurement of the campus central area,combined with the computer thermal environment simulation method,correlate the spatial shape quantitative index with the thermal environment index,and through comparative analysis,draw the ideal campus central area with good thermal comfort that is suitable for the climate of Nanjing area model.The full text contains three parts:Proposing the problem(Chapter 1): Conduct background research on the subject through reading a large number of related literature and documents,understand the research progress and depth at home and abroad,and analyze the spatial morphology model,external space morphology quantitative method,thermal comfort evaluation method,and the correlation mechanism between spatial morphology and thermal comfort carry out in-depth research,summarize relevant theories and research results,and provide research ideas and basis for the following.Analyze the problem(Chapter 2): Firstly,the related concepts of the spatial form and thermal comfort in the central area of the university campus and the related mechanisms of the two are sorted out and focused on,which lays a theoretical foundation for the subsequent research.Summarize and classify the extensive research on the central area of the 50 university campuses in Nanjing,select and deeply study the typical campus with the representative spatial form of the central area,summarize and quantify the spatial form of the central area quantitative indicators and layout model,based on the above research The ideal model of the spatial form of the central zone.Problem solving(Chapter 3 and Chapter 4): Conduct field surveys on the target university campus through methods such as surveys and questionnaires to initially grasp user behavior and activity patterns and thermal environment data in the central area of the target campus,and use statistical methods to analyze changes in thermal environment indicators and thermal comfort with the human body.The relevance of the study provides a factual basis for subsequent research.Based on the quantitative data of the spatial form of the central area and the measured data of the thermal environment,the computer modeling and simulation of the target campus are carried out,the simulation results are verified and the correlation analysis is carried out,and the spatial activity characteristics of the central area of the campus are studied in depth in the summer and winter seasons.The theoretical basis and factual basis of the research summary are used,and the ideal model of the spatial form of the campus central area in the Nanjing area in the previous research is used as the research basis.The experimental plan simulation of the campus central area under different spatial form quantitative indicators and the overall layout is combined with the thermal environment.And comfort index comparative study,obtained the central area of the campus spatial form design and optimization method is suitable for the hot-summer and cold-winter climate
