Organic laser dyes have attracted more and more attention because of their low preparation cost,low environmental toxicity and good tunability.In the visible light band,organic laser dyes,compared with inorganic materials,have unique optical properties and other highly competitive advantages,which make it obtain a wider application space.Optical active devices are widely used in various fields,such as communication,laser,radar detection,sensing,display,medical treatment,etc.Especially modern optical communication,optical detection and sensing and other fields have a pivotal position.Traditional active optical devices mainly include lasers,sensors,active amplifiers and so on.Compared with traditional electrical sensors,Optical sensors have been paid more and more attention because of their higher sensitivity and faster response speed,as well as remarkable anti-interference ability.At the same time,the sensing system or device based on organic laser dye can meet the specific test requirements in different natural environments,as well as physiological and medical environments,so it has a wide range of applications.Solid-state Laser is one of the main directions of Laser development in the future,because it has the characteristics of small size and portability,and Solid medium is less biotoxic than liquid,and is relatively safe to use.Among them,solid dye laser not only has the above advantages of solid laser,but also has the tunability of dye solution laser in the range of visible wavelength.At the same time,unlike in solution state,organic dye molecules do not agglomerate in the solid matrix and are relatively isolated,which avoids many complex optical phenomena caused by the interaction between dye molecules and the matrix environment.Optical Amplifier is a kind of device based on the gain property of luminescent materials,which is pumped by external input energy,and then generates excited radiation phenomenon,and can amplify the intensity of Optical signal while keeping the frequency and phase of the original input Optical signal unchanged.Optical amplifiers are widely used in various industries.Different from the traditional inorganic optical amplifier made from rare earth elements,the organic laser dye has better tunability in visible light band.In this paper,organic active optical devices,including p H sensors,solid-state lasers and thin film amplifiers,are prepared by using the specific optical properties of organic laser dyes.The main work of this paper is(1)With sodium fluorescein as the working medium,an optical sensor is designed to determine the p H value of the solution by using ASE spectral peak wavelength as the calibration method.With 4mg/ m L of sodium fluorescein solution,the sensing accuracy of 1 is achieved in the p H range of 3~11,and the p H of non-luminous colored solution can be detected.(2)Taking advantage of the superior gain performance of organic laser dyes,PMMA was selected as the matrix and Lumogen Orange was used as the working medium to fabricate solid dye lasers with better laser performance.The gain medium of yellow light solid laser with central wavelength of 575 nm was prepared by the polymerization of 0.001 mmol/ m L Lumogen Orange MMA solution at a low temperature of 60 ℃,and its stability could be improved by doping solvent or coumarin molecules.(3)Coumarin 460(C460)and polymethyl methacrylate(PMMA)were used to prepare thin films,so as to realize the design of organic thin film optical amplifier.The C460 toluene solution with a concentration of 20 mg/ m L was mixed with PMMA to prepare the film,and the optical amplification gain of 6.4 d B was achieved. |
