In the context of global warming, the natural environment is becoming more fragile, and as living standards improve people are placing higher demands on the livability of the urban environment.Urban water plays an important and irreplaceable role in maintaining the ecological balance of cities and regulating urban microclimate.A great deal of research has been carried out by scholars at home and abroad on urban microclimate, but studies on the influence of Urban water and the spatial layout of different water on the microclimate of neighbourhoods are not yet systematic. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to study the formation mechanism of microclimate in urban neighbourhoods along Urban water,to investigate the regulation effect of Urban water on the microclimate of neighbourhoods, and to provide scientific basis for the planning and design of improving the comfort of urban neighbourhoods.First, this paper carries out field research work on neighbourhoods with water in Guilin, and the data show that: solar radiation is an important factor affecting the temperature distribution of the neighbourhood's sub-bedding surface;the spatial layout of the neighbourhood has less variation in the effect of air flow rate;and the relative humidity of the air has the widest degree of influence on neighbourhood comfort. The results of the subjective neighbourhood thermal comfort survey show that people generally consider neighbourhoods bordering lakes and waters to be more comfortable than those bordering rivers and rivers, and that the quality and comfort of the neighbourhood environment can be improved by increasing the vegetation along the waterfront. The following conclusions were drawn from the analysis of the measured data and simulation results: river width, lake area, spatial layout of rivers and lakes and greenery are all closely related to the formation and evolution of the microclimate in the neighbourhood.Increasing the river width has a cooling and dehumidifying effect on the neighbourhood environment;the lake area shows the strongest warming and dehumidifying effect at a scaling factor of 0.5;increasing the greenery coverage has a warming and humidifying effect on the neighbourhood environment and a dissipating effect on the neighbourhood flow field.Increasing the width of rivers and the area of lakes has a gaining effect on the neighbourhood velocity field. The river and green landscape increase the PET and UTCI values near the surface of the coastal neighbourhood, while the lake reduces the PET and UTCI values near the surface of the coastal neighbourhood. In summary, this paper proposes a thermal comfort evaluation model applicable to the watershed neighbourhood of Guilin. The primary neighbourhood thermal comfort evaluation model based on PET and UTCI points out that the activity status of people and the thermal resistance of clothing are not significant indicators affecting the neighbourhood thermal comfort model, and the independent variable factors of the model are screened to obtain an optimised neighbourhood thermal comfort evaluation model with neighbourhood air temperature, relative humidity, air flow rate and solar radiation intensity as the independent variables of the prediction equation, which can be used with relatively few The model can obtain the same level of confidence with relatively few independent variable factors and can meet a wider range of uses. Finally, corresponding improvement measures are proposed, taking into account the microclimate characteristics and spatial layout of the waterside neighbourhoods in Guilin.
