Due to zero resistance characteristics of superconducting material and high load density flow characteristic,makes the superconducting material application in superconducting permanent magnet wind turbine,can greatly reduce the size of our generator,but the presence of the ac loss not only can aggravate the burden of high temperature superconducting permanent magnet generator cooling system,still can cause instability of superconducting generators.Based on the application of superconducting materials in high-power high-temperature superconducting permanent magnet generator,this paper studies the change of AC loss of superconducting strip and superconducting coil under the working condition of the generator.In the design of superconducting generator,the value of coil loss can reflect the overall performance of the starting motor to a large extent,so the research on the AC loss of superconducting coil is of great significance for the subsequent research and design of high-temperature superconducting permanent magnet generator.The main contents of this paper are as follows.Firstly,in this paper,the development of high temperature superconducting materials and superconducting motors is briefly introduced,and the status quo of the research on the AC loss of superconducting materials at home and abroad is described.According to the status quo,the main content of this paper is introduced.The models of the current carrying characteristics of superconducting strip and coil,such as the critical state model,are introduced.The theoretical calculation models of AC loss,such as Norris and Brandt models,are enumerated.Secondly,combined with the mathematical model presented above,and combined with the construction of the simulation model method,based on the H was established by the finite element software Comsol superconducting strip model of formula method,has been under the of magnetic field and current density distribution,analyses the reasons of the ac loss change,by change curve drawing ac loss,its reliance on the related parameters are discussed.Thirdly,has carried on the simulation modeling of high temperature superconducting coil,the internal working condition of low frequency leakage magnetic field of the generator is calculated under the ac loss of the results of numerical results and the distribution of electromagnetic field,the different number of stacked conductor is obtained,the change rule of ac loss from the Angle of the magnetic field interaction,analyzes the change of different stacked conductor loss of communication,through mapping exchange loss curves,of its dependence on the related parameters are discussed.Finally,the critical current experimental measurement platform and the self-field transmission loss experimental measurement platform were built to carry out the experimental measurement of the critical current and the AC loss under the corresponding working conditions.Through the comparison between the experimental data and the simulation results,the accuracy and scientificity of the simulation calculation and the experimental measurement are well verified.
