We always want to get some information about the occluded object. However, there is not a perfect method to solve this question by using the traditional imaging techniques. In the field of Non-Line-of-Sight Imaging, there are many limitations, such as expensive experimental equipment, long reconstruction time, and small imaging range.Ghost imaging,as a novel computational imaging scheme has many advantages that traditional imaging does not has, such as the advantages of simple imaging system structure, high resolution, and strong anti-interference ability.Recently it has been proved to be useful in such situations,as Gao's work(Laser Phys.Lett.16(6):065202),which is only numerical simulations about this question. The advantages of ghost imaging technology, such as simple structure and lower requirements for experimental equipment, can just make up for some shortcomings of traditional imaging and Non-Line-of-Sight Imaging. Therefore, the research value of recovering the information of occluded objects through ghost imaging technology is very great. In this paper,we carry out experimental research based on Gao's theory, taking the second-order correlation function required in the imaging process as the starting point, this paper theoretically analyzes the main factors that affect the restoration of the information of the occluded object based on ghost imaging technology. Then, the experiment plan is designing, and the experiment platform is builting to conduct the experiment research.Analyzing the experimental results, the experiment is verifing the feasibility of using ghost imaging technology to recover the information of the occluded object, and confirming that the distance between the object to be measured and the occluded object is an important factor affecting the recovery of the information of the occluded object. It is also proposed whether the illumination speckle pattern will affect the information recovery of the occluded object, and an experiment using ghost imaging technology to restore the information of the occluded object based on different illumination speckle patterns is carried out.The experiment verifies that the illumination speckle pattern does affect the occluded object.Information restoration has an impact. Finally, multiple sets of experiments are performed by changing different sizes of objects to be measured and occluded objects. After comparing the experimental results,it was proposed that the size of the obstructed object could completely cover the object to be measured. There is a certain proportional relationship between the size of the objects and the imaging distanceIn short, this paper researches the theoretical and experimental on the recovery of occluded object information based on ghost imaging technology. The experiment verifies the imaging scheme proposed by Gao et al.and further studies the factors that affect the information recovery of occluded objects. This paper puts forward a new idea for the field of occluded object information recovery, and lays a foundation for the application of occluded object information recovery based on ghost imaging technology.
