V-ribbed belts are commonly used in the front-end accessory drive system of automobile engines.Tangential slip during transmission not only affects the life of the V-ribbed belt,but also causes severe lateral vibration of the V-ribbed belt,resulting in strong vibration of the V-ribbed belt.Noise seriously affects the NVH(Noise,Vibration,Harshness)performance of automobile engines.The research on the mechanism of tangential slip noise in the multiribbed belt multi-wheel transmission system has important practical significance and research value for reducing the noise in the engine transmission system and improving the transmission performance of the engine.The noise in the multi-V-belt multi-wheel drive system mainly includes the tangential slip noise and the lateral vibration noise of the multiV-belt.In this paper,through the method of combining theoretical modeling and analysis,simulation calculation and experiment,the generation mechanism of V-ribbed belt tangential slip noise and lateral vibration noise is studied.Aiming at the generation mechanism of the tangential slip noise of the multi-ribbed belt,firstly,according to the modal coupling theory in the tribological theory,a three-dimensional model of the wedge section of the multi-rib Natural frequency harmony response curve with wedge section.On the comprehensive test bench for friction noise of the V-belt transmission system,the lower friction noise and the V-belt with different tension forces,different tangential slip speeds,and different pulley wrap angles were measured for two different types of V-ribbed belts.The stick-slip vibration frequency of the V-belt is obtained,and the laws of the tangential slip stick-slip vibration and noise of the V-belt are obtained.In view of the generation mechanism and reasons of V-belt lateral vibration and noise,a V-belt multi-wheel transmission system model is established,and the modal,harmonic response,noise sound pressure cloud diagram and noise frequency domain of the V-ribbed belt multi-wheel transmission system are obtained by simulation software.Based on the sound array measurement principle,a comprehensive test bed for vibration and noise of the multi-ribbed belt multi-wheel transmission system is built.The sound pressure sensor is used to measure the noise sound pressure of the transmission system and the sound pressure cloud diagram of the transmission system,and the laser Doppler is used to measure The vibrometer measures the amplitude of the V-ribbed belt’s lateral vibration,and obtains the law of the influence of the driving wheel speed and the tension of the V-ribbed belt on the lateral vibration and noise of the V-ribbed belt.Through experiments and simulations,the correctness of the generation mechanism of lateral vibration and noise of the multi-ribbed belt multi-wheel drive system is verified.The noise of the multi-ribbed belt multi-wheel drive system is studied through a combination of theoretical modeling and analysis,simulation and experiment.The wedge belt drive system provides a reliable theoretical basis for noise reduction.
