In this study, macrozoobenthos from the intertidal zone and the nearshore shallow sea of the Yellow River Estuary wetland and shellfish from the Taoer River Estuary. We analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics of macrozoobenthos community structure and discussed the relationship between the spatial distribution characteristics of macrozoobenthos community structure and environmental factors such as vegetation, temperature, salinity, nutrient,it provide data reference for the ecological restoration of estuarine wetlands.A total of 38 macrobenthic species were collected in the intertidal zone of the Yellow River Estuary wetland in summer.Among them, the largest number of macrobenthic species(26 species)were identified in Suaeda salsa habitat. The smallest number of macrobenthos were identified in the habitats of Phragmites australis, with only 15 species.Neanthes japonica and Heteromastus filiforms are the dominant species in the five habitats. The dominant species are mostly macrobenthos with small size. The biomass of macrozoobenthos in Suaeda salsa habitat and mudflat was significantly different from that of Phragmites australis(P<0.01).There were significant differences in macrobenthic biomass between mudflat and Spartina alterniflora habitats(P<0.05).There were significant differences in habitat density between Suaeda salsa and Spartina alterniflora,Phragmites australis, and mudflat(P<0.05).Shannon-Wiener diversity index was significantly different between Suaeda salsa habitat and Phragmites australis habitat(P<0.05).The influence of vegetation cover on the species number and diversity index of macrobenthos was limited.(2)A total of 26 species of macrozoobenthos were collected from the coastal shallow sea of the Yellow River Estuary wetland. The annelids are the most common. There are 5 dominant species, all of which are annelids.According to the lifestyle group, sessage macrobenthos are the most.In terms of feeding habits, the largest number of herbivorous macrobenthos were found. The macrozoobenthos community in the nearshore shallow sea was in a state of moderate disturbance, and the macrozoobenthos community was mainly dominated by species with small size. The nearshore shallow sea macrobenthos in the Yellow River Estuary wetland can be divided into three groups at 40% similarity level. The similarity among all sampling stations was lower than 0.5,which was at a low level.Temperature had little effect on macrobenthos. There were fewer macrozoobenthos in the stations with higher salinity, probably because the high salinity would inhibit the species diversity of macrozoobenthos. There was a significant negative correlation between total phosphorus and habitat density. The abundance of phytoplankton was significantly positively correlated with the species number and habitat density of macrobenthos(P<0.05).The increase of silicates, temperature, chemical oxygen demand(COD)and chlorophyll a concentration were more favorable to the growth of the dominant macrobenthic species in the coastal shallow sea of the Yellow River Estuary wetland.(3)A total of 13 species of shellfish were captured in the Taoer River shellfish breeding area, among which the dominant species was Meretrix meretrix,Meretrix meretrix accounted for 40.1%.Temperature,phosphate,and phytoplankton biomass had significant effects on the shellfish biomass(P<0.05),and the increase of temperature and phosphate and phytoplankton biomass was more beneficial to the growth of shellfish.
