With the continuous development of visualization technology,more geographic information visualization platforms continue to enter the public's field of vision.The rise of these systems and a large number of applications have enabled more and more geographic and geological researchers to observe and analyze data more intuitively and work more efficiently.With the deepening of research and the increasing period of research objects,larger-scale terrain information,higher-precision model real-time rendering,and visualization of expressive data continuity have become urgent problems to be solved.Because of the large volume of terrain and crustal data,the existing visualization methods cannot efficiently model large volumes of data.At the same time,because the model complexity in the existing crustal visualization system is relatively high,the continuity demonstration of the crustal model is relatively high.These problems are mainly reflected in the rapid generation of terrain models and dynamic demonstrations.In this paper,the method research of large-scale terrain generation technology is carried out on these two issues.main tasks as follows:First,for the rapid modeling of large-scale terrain,a hybrid modeling method based on Digital Elevation Model(DEM)is proposed,combined with Levels of Detail(LOD)hierarchical shearing technology and quadtree model simplification algorithm.On the premise of ensuring the excellent model itself,the efficiency of real-time generation is improved.The modeling algorithm based on the DEM of the digital elevation model can express more model information with fewer points.Secondly,in view of the dynamic visualization of terrain,this paper proposes an optimized linear bone skinning technology to dynamically demonstrate the visual terrain module.The bone skinning technology can construct the crustal skeleton according to the undulations of the terrain,and realize the terrain model by the way of bone expansion Dynamic changes.Finally,analyze the functional requirements according to the functional requirements,formulate the overall system solution,individually design the algorithms of each sub-module,and carefully implement each functional requirement,and combine the key technologies of the above research to complete the visualization of the evolution process of the North China crust based on the continuous learning DEM System,and test and evaluate the system.The system can not only provide researchers with a more efficient model generation platform,thereby improving the efficiency of research work,but also can better present the evolution process of geological scientific research objects,so that the continuity and development of the geo-geological research work can be reflected.
