As the ability of the bogie technology research and development in recent years,the researchers design of bogie structure and function is more and more advanced,more and more widely used rubber elastic element,also the performance requirements of the rubber elastic element put forward higher request,to meet this requirement,the early stage of need rubber elastic element to carry out the detailed theoretical study including(rubber formulation,process),Master the match the rigidity of rubber elastic component development skills,in the process of rubber product development design,using the FEA(finite element analysis)analysis to predict the static and dynamic performance of the product structure design improvement,to achieve the optimal design of rubber elastic element,can significantly improve the quality of the design of the rubber elastic element,and reduce the product development cycle,Reduce the cost of trial production and the consumption of experimental materials.In this paper,based on the finite element analysis of other rubber products,FEA is used to analyze the structural properties of rubber side supports in locomotive and vehicle.The main research content of this paper is roughly divided into the following aspects.(1)In the early stage,by collecting and learning a large number of references to rubber elastic elements,the mechanical properties of rubber materials,test equipment and methods,the difference between different types of constitutive models and their application characteristics were analyzed in detail.The important functions of rubber elastic elements in locomotive and rolling stock are summarized.The performance characteristics and failure modes of rubber elastic elements commonly used in locomotive are summarized.(2)The application of ABAQUS software in rubber elastic components is discussed.The nonlinear analysis steps of ABAOUS software are introduced,and the two solvers of ABAQUS software,Standard and Explicit,are described and compared in detail.Standard is used to analyze the static performance of general rubber products,while the analysis results of dynamic or complicated contact analysis are more accurate with the Explicit solver.(3)Finite element analysis and calculation were carried out on the rubber side bearing,and the influence of product structural parameters on the stiffness performance was adjusted continuously to determine the structure type with good three-way stiffness matching.By analyzing the stress-strain nephogram,the structure was optimized and the hardness of rubber was adjusted continuously.The stiffness performance curve was drawn,and the influence of the thickness of rubber layer on the stiffness performance was discussed.In this paper,the installation position,shape size,rigidity performance and the height of the product under working condition are taken as the design conditions to determine the product structure in the early stage.By using ABAQUS software,the vertical,longitudinal and transverse stiffness performance of the finite element model was calculated.According to the analysis data,the structure is optimized and adjusted continuously.At the same time,the product structure is determined by referring to the typical rubber elastic elements developed in the past,and the trial production and performance test are carried out to verify the product structure.The results show that the improved product structure is reliable.
