Ambrosia artemisiifolia and Ambrosia trifida are the first(2003)and second(2010)invasive species that announced by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of China, respectively, for their great ecological and economic damage.Metagenomic sequencing technology was used to compare the structure and function of rhizosphere soil microorganisms in Ambrosia artemisiifolia and Ambrosia trifida between Langfang(China)and Pennsylvania(USA).The differences are analyzed and the relationship between the difference and its invasiveness was discovered, which is of great significance for revealing the invasion mechanism from the perspective of soil microorganisms.Though species and functions are quite similar, their relative abundance differs significantly in the rhizosphere soil of Ambrosia artemisiifolia between Pennsylvania and Langfang plots. The inter-species network and the species-function network showed the synergistic effect in Langfang plots, however, showed competitive effect in Pennsylvania plots.Furthermore, much more beneficial microorganisms were significantly detected in the rhizosphere soil of the Langfang than that in the Pennsylvania plots.Compared with that in Pennsylvania plots, the positive competitive release effect of inter-species network and the species-function network in the rhizosphere soil might be closely related to the invasion of A.artemisiifolia.Though species and functions are quite similar, their relative abundance differs significantly in the rhizosphere soil of Ambrosia trifida between Pennsylvania and Langfang plots. The inter-species network and the species-function network showed the synergistic effect in Pennsylvania plots, however, showed competitive effect in Langfang plots. The results of comparative study on the structure and function of A.artemisiifolia and A.trifida between Pennsylvania and Langfang plots showed that different invasive plant species have different effects on rhizosphere microorganisms. The differences in the structure and functional correlation network of rhizosphere microorganisms of A.artemisiifolia and A.trifida further illustrated that the soil microbes of different invasive plants may form favorable environment by different mechanisms to promote its invasion.
