Infectious disease is one of the events affecting public health security.If it continues to spread,it will have serious consequences.However,if we take reasonable and effective prevention and control measures,the harmfulness can be greatly reduced.This paper discusses the transmission process of COVID-19,a newly emerging infectious disease,by establishing a differential equation model,and discusses the influence of treatment isolation intensity on the development of the epidemic in two cases.First,we considered the diagnosis rate of hospitalization and isolation of mild patients as constant,calculated the basic regeneration number,and conducted sensitivity analysis and numerical simulation.The results show that isolation measures can significantly reduce the epidemic final size and the number of dead,and the greater the intensity of measures,the better,but duration of the epidemic will be prolonged.Whenever isolation measures are taken,the epidemic final size and the number of dead can be reduced.In early stage of the epidemic,taking measures one day later has little impact,but after a certain period,if taking measures one day later,the epidemic final size and the number of dead increase sharply.Taking measures as early as possible makes the maximum number of patients appear later,which is conducive to expanding medical bed resources and reducing the pressure on medical resource demand.As long as possible,high-intensity isolation measures should be taken in time for patients with mild symptoms.Then,sensitivity analysis and numerical simulation were performed,taking into account the time-dependent variation in the diagnosis rate of hospitalization and isolation for patients with mild symptoms.The results show that speeding up the treatment and isolation measures for patients with mild illness will significantly reduce the number of people who get sick,die,and recover.In addition,when the speed of isolation treatment for mild patients is moderate,the peak value of medical resources required reaches the maximum.If the speed of isolation treatment is slightly accelerated,the number of beds required will be reduced,which can relieve the pressure on medical resources.The speed with which medical isolation measures are taken for mild cases should be increased as much as possible.
