The exploration and exploitation of marine oil and gas resources is a comprehensive project,which is affected by water depth,hydrological environment,offshore distance,geological conditions and other factors.Among them,marine flexible pipe system technology plays an important role.Due to the particularity of underwater working environment,marine flexible pipe system needs to bear a variety of environmental loads under wind,wave,current and their combined action for a long time.In order to ensure the safety of marine flexible pipe system during working,the most effective method is to install the auxiliary equipment of marine flexible pipe system to protect it.Subsidiary equipment of marine flexible pipe system is divided into a variety of ancillary equipment according to its different functions,including antibending equipment,buoyancy equipment,bending equipment,etc.Among them,the buoyancy equipment is installed in the buoyancy section of the marine flexible pipe system to provide the rated buoyancy,so as to maintain the effect of the marine flexible pipe system design line.Distributed buoyancy module is the most commonly used buoyancy equipment.At present,the research on distributed buoyancy module in China has just begun.The distributed buoyancy module that can realize application mainly depends on imports,and has not yet realized localization.Therefore,it is of great significance for the development of marine science and technology and marine engineering equipment technology in China to conduct a comprehensive research and analysis of distributed buoyancy modules,break the technical monopoly and realize the independent research and development and manufacturing of distributed buoyancy modules.This paper mainly focuses on the key performance of distributed buoyancy module-buoyancy performance,and focuses on the analysis of the influence of structural design and material design factors on the performance of distributed buoyancy module in the basic design work of distributed buoyancy module.Firstly,the main research contents and key problems of the key performance of the distributed buoyancy module are demonstrated.Then,the failure mode and design requirements in the design work foundation of distributed buoyancy module are analyzed,and the design criteria of distributed buoyancy module are proposed.Based on the design criteria,the structural design work in the basic design of the distributed buoyancy module is analyzed.At the same time,based on the design criteria,the material design work in the basic design of the distributed buoyancy module is analyzed.The commonly used materials of the distributed buoyancy module in the industry are listed,and the characteristics and application fields of various materials are described in detail.For the Syntactic Foam Material with the widest application range and the most mature technology,the relationship between the material performance and the overall performance of the distributed buoyancy module is studied.The influence trend of density performance and strength performance was analyzed.The material microstructure model and distributed buoyancy module structure model were established by ABAQUS numerical simulation software.Finally,taking the dynamic monitoring cable design and auxiliary equipment design project of a scientific test field in the South China Sea as an engineering example,the distributed buoyancy module is designed completely,and the overall performance parameters of the distributed buoyancy module are determined.Based on the research results of this paper,according to the working principle of the distributed buoyancy module and the in-situ working line and structure of the marine flexible pipe system,the structural form of the distributed buoyancy module with universal applicability is designed,and the calculation formula of each structural parameter of the distributed buoyancy module is given.After comprehensive analysis of the results of material design,it is shown that the density performance and compressive strength performance of the distributed buoyancy module will be affected by changing the volume fraction of hollow glass beads,and the material design guidance of the distributed buoyancy module is given.
