Antibiotics have played a major role in protecting human health. However, due to the large amount of artificial use of antibiotics and irregular management, the emergence of bacterial resistance has been accelerated.A large amount of discarded antibiotics are discharged into the water body, and many animals and plants are affected. With the nutrient enrichment of the food chain,it poses a great threat to the environment and humans.Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride is a quinolone antibiotic widely used at present, and it is also one of the antibiotics with the strongest antibacterial activity.CPFX is the most common application in the medical industry and aquaculture. This experiment studied the toxic effects of different concentrations of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride on the cell growth, antioxidant activity, membrane permeability and photosynthesis of Phaeodactylum tricornutum. The experimental concentration gradients were(0,1,10,30,50,80mg/L),the Phaeodactylum tricornutum was subjected to stress treatment for 9 days. The results of the study showed that: 1)The growth of the algae cells.Cell proliferation was slightly inhibited 3 days before the addition of antibiotics, after which the algae cell density showed an overall upward trend, but as the concentration of CPFX increased, the growth rate of the algae cell density slowed down. The algae liquid is uniform yellow-brown.Observed under the microscope,it can be seen that the greater the concentration, the algae cells will gather into a cluster, and some algaecy to chromes will become lighter under high-concentration stress.2)Antioxidant ability. The activities of SOD and POD gradually increased before the 7th day.The growth trend is obvious, and the growth trend gradually stabilizes. The activities of SOD and POD in the high-concentration group began to decline.By the ninth day,the greater the concentration of antibiotics, the POD activity was inhibited significantly, and the inhibition of the higher concentration was not obvious in the low-concentration group, and the POD activity showed a relationship of decreasing concentration over time.3)The effect on membrane permeability.Under the stress of high concentration CPFX(? 30 mg/L),the content of MDA in algal cells increases significantly with time, and the content of soluble protein and soluble sugar decreases with time.4)The effect of light and effect, under the stress of CPFX,the photosynthetic pigment content of algae cells did not significantly decrease, and the photon yield, maximum photochemical efficiency, photosynthetic quantum conversion and photochemical efficiency decreased slightly with the extension of exposure time, and the basic trend was the same. The overall performance index of PS? light energy absorption decreases significantly with the increase of time.In a word,it can be concluded that CPFX has slightly toxic effects on the four major aspects of Phaeodactylum tricornutum cell morphology, antioxidant capacity, membrane permeability and photosynthesis.Phaeodactylum tricornutum can be used as a model organism to remove antibiotic content in water bodies, suitable for large-scale production and processing of bait, and provide scientific basis for the ecological risk assessment of ciprofloxacin.
