In recent years,with the fast development of oblique photogrammetry technology and maturity of the 3D modeling technology,geological exploration and other industries are increasingly using 3D data models to replace traditional research methods.But at present,the3 D data model processing system is mostly based on C/S architecture,and client software needs to be installed and configured to meet the needs of anytime,anywhere viewing,a solution with low client configuration requirements and binding with geological data management and analysis platforms function is needed.Therefore,combining the 3D Web GIS technology to study the geological outcrop model information extraction technology has sufficient research value.In this paper,a solution is proposed to solve problems existing in information extraction in geological outcrop 3D model,which is based on Cesium,an open source 3D rendering engine based on HTML5 and WebGL.Geological outcrop image data obtained by oblique photography is used to get OSGB format 3D model data through aerial triangulation?texture mapping and 3D modeling,after reference coordinate system conversion and format conversion,establishing geological outcrop information extraction system to realize no plugins,cross-platform and mobility outcrop information extraction.The main research work and contents are as follows:(1)According to the WebGL specification and Cesium framework requirements,carry out research plan to convert geological outcrop 3D model and data projection transformation methods,programming to implement related functions.(2)According to the relevant technology of WebGL 3D rendering,carry out analysis of LOD algorithm and OOC algorithm involved in large-scale geological outcrop 3D model loading,and on the basis of that,carry out contrast on model data storage and publishing methods.(3)Design and implement information extraction related modules based on Cesium loading model fluently,add basic GIS functions such as measurements,annotations,and search functions to 3D models,extract vector data information for format conversion and data storage.(4)Design and implement geological outcrop information extraction system,carry out test and comparison on system multi-platform features,verify outcrop information interaction method based on browser platform is feasible and practical.
