The Tai Wan strait is the strait between Tai Wan island and the coast of fujian,Third line of west-east gas transmissionis planing to crossthe north of the strait,The estimated route length is about 140 km,The maximum water depth is 80 m,and the average water depth is50-60 m.At present,the 40 m stinger on the laying vessel cannot satisfy the water depth of80 m.Therefore,it is necessary to redesign a new stinger to meet the laying of water depth above 80 meters.The designed water depth of this project is 100 m.This paper is based on the CPOE 101 pipe laying vessel,using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS and OFFPIPE analysis: ABAQUS is used to analysis the stinger,it is divided into the whole analysis and the part analysis.The whole analysis evaluates structural integrity of connection structures and other critical components.The part analysisanalyzes with appropriate boundary conditions and loads,obtains the results of Mises stress and maximum shear stress,and these components will be enhanced during the design process in the future.According to the DNV81,setting up a roller support and tensioner position and elevation,designing water depth as 100 m,under working load conditions,design environment load and working load conditions,calculating allowable pipe stresses at upper and lower bends.OFFPIPE is used for static and dynamic calculation,obtaining the stress on pipe support point and the lower bend section,comparing the upper and lower bending stresses with the allowable stress and the maximum stress,adjusting the height of the roller,the angle of stinger and the tension of the tensioner to achieve the optimal effect and meet the engineering requirements.The study showed that the finite element analysis software ABAQUS evaluates structural integrity of connection structures and other critical components,and OFFPIPE analyzes the stress of pipe upper and lower bends,concluding that the maximum stress on the pipe is less than the allowable stress.Bying analyze the data,obtaining the suggestions for the detailed design of stinger used in projects of laying submarine pipelines with different diameters,as a reference for the subsequent stinger design. |
