The giant panda is an important endangered animal in my country and even the world, and it is a precious natural heritage of mankind.Wanglang Nature Reserve is rich in biodiversity and is an important part of the Minshan Mountains in the Giant Panda National Park.It is a natural corridor connecting the local population of giant pandas in Jiuzhai-Baima.It plays an irreplaceable role in the survival and reproduction of giant pandas.Frequent occurrence of geological disasters will cause serious damage to the giant panda's living environment.Exploring the impact of geological disasters on giant pandas and their habitat is of great significance to the protection of endangered animals such as giant pandas, scientific management, and planning of disaster reconstruction and restoration. This article takes Wanglang Nature Reserve as an example, uses information volume, maximum entropy model, combined with the knowledge of geological disasters, biology and other disciplines, and comprehensively analyzes the habitat safety of Wanglang giant pandas from the perspective of geological hazard risk and habitat suitability.Discuss the impact of geological disasters on Wanglang giant panda and its habitat, and provide data support and reference for giant panda and its habitat protection. The research content and results of this article are as follows:(1)Combining Wanglang's relevant survey data and previous research experience, starting from the basic factors and inducing factors, construct the Wanglang geological disaster risk evaluation index system, discuss the risk of Wanglang geological disasters, and analyze the possible impact of geological disasters on the survival of giant pandas. The information quantity model is mainly used to determine the information quantity provided by the evaluation index, and the information quantity value is corrected by the index weight obtained by the analytic hierarchy process, and the risk of geological disasters in Wanglang is comprehensively analyzed. The research results show that the degree of geological disaster risk in the study area is closely related to the distance of the river and the amount of rainfall.Geological disasters such as collapse and mud-rock flow are prone to occur along rivers and near roads.(2)With reference to the habitat research materials and methods, the density of disaster points is introduced to improve the Wanglang giant panda habitat evaluation index system, and the Maxent model is used to predict the distribution probability of the Wanglang giant panda.Based on this result and threshold, the habitat suitability is divided, the relationship between environmental indicators and habitat suitability is explored, and analyze the impact of various indicators on the distribution of giant pandas. The research results show that the habitat suitability of the northeastern part of Wanglang and the three main ditches of Dawohan,Zhugencha, and Changbaigou is relatively high. The habitat suitability of the west, southwest, and southern regions with higher elevations is low,and there are mainly glaciers and rocky beaches, and the ecological environment is extremely unsuitable for the survival activities of giant pandas;Secondly, altitude, bamboo and vegetation distribution are the main factors affecting the distribution and habitat quality of giant pandas.Roads, geological disasters, and slopes have certain effects on the distribution and habitat quality of giant pandas.(3)Combining historical disaster points with the distribution of giant panda's footprints, analyze the interference of disasters on the survival of giant pandas.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the safety of the giant panda's habitat based on the harmonic average model, the Wanglang giant panda's habitat security level is reclassified in Arc GIS from low to high as I?IV.Among them, the areas with lower levels of habitat security are mainly distributed in the western, southwest and southern areas of Wanglang,as well as near rivers and roads, accounting for about 49.67% of the total area. The areas with higher levels of habitat security are mainly distributed in the east, northeast and north areas of Wanglang, accounting for about 50.33% of the total area.
