Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA)is a field of interdisciplinary research on operations research,management and mathematical economics.It is a quantitative analysis method that uses linear programming to evaluate the relative effectiveness of comparable units of the same type based on multiple input indicators and multiple output indicators.The DEA method and its model have been widely used in different industries since it was put forward,and in dealing with multi-indicator input and multi-indicator output,it shows that it does not need to set explicit expressions between input and output indicators,and eliminates the need to set explicit expressions between input and output indicators.The influences and conclusions caused by many subjective factors have advantages such as strong objectivity.Agriculture is an indispensable industry in all regions.The development of agriculture ultimately depends on the improvement of agricultural production efficiency.The level of agricultural production efficiency directly determines the level of local agricultural development.Therefore,improving agricultural production efficiency is an important way for agricultural development.This article introduces and analyzes the agricultural production of Guilin in the past 11 years: Guilin is a major agricultural city in Guangxi.In 2019,the total agricultural production value reached 536 trillion yuan,ranking first in Guangxi.Guilin has abundant water resources and fertile land.However,due to its low degree of intensification and the underdeveloped agricultural product processing industry,the characteristics of its resources have not been fully utilized.Therefore,this article starts with the data envelopment analysis model,selects the total sown area of crops,the total power of agricultural machinery,the amount of agricultural fertilizers,and the effective irrigation area in Guilin City as input elements,and the total output value of crops is the output indicator.The DEA model is applied to Guilin The city’s agricultural production efficiency is being evaluated.Through the analysis and comparison of the CCR model,the BCC model and the super-efficiency DEA model in the DEA model,the most suitable method for improving the agricultural production efficiency of Guilin is obtained.According to the model solution,the following conclusions are drawn: From 2009 to 2019,the early agricultural production of Guilin Efficiency is at a low level,but the overall trend is steadily increasing.Only in 2017 and2019 are DEA effective,with an average efficiency of 89.6%,and 2019 is more effective than2017.Agricultural production efficiency has fluctuated in the past four years.The overall development is in a good direction.Under the BCC model,the returns to scale obtained in each year are basically increasing,and it is necessary to increase the scale of investment and expand production.According to the solution model,the years that have not reached the DEA validity are obtained.The adjustment of resources is used to improve the production efficiency.By putting forward some agricultural improvement production suggestions,the improvement of the agricultural production efficiency in Guilin has been promoted,and the agricultural production in Guilin has been relieved to a certain extent.Improper resource allocation,small production scale,high input redundancy rate,etc.
