A Taxonomy Study On The Genus Pimoa From Pan-Himalaya(Araneae,Pimoidae)

Pan-Himalaya is the main distribution area of the genus Pimoa in Asia.At present,22 species of the genus Pimoa are known in this region.In this dissertation,we systematically studied the taxonomy of the genus Pimoa in Pan-Himalaya,and identified these specimens by morphological taxonomy and molecular phylogenetic analysis.As a result,a total of 35 new species of the Pimoa were established as new species,and 26 of which are from China,seven from Nepal,and two from Pakistan:Pimoa anning sp.nov.(??),P.bomi sp.nov.(??),P.cawarong sp.nov.(??),P.danba sp.nov.(?),P.deqen sp.nov.(?),P.dongjiu sp.nov.(??),P.guiqing sp.nov.(?),P.gyaca sp.nov.(?),P.gyara sp.nov.(??),P.gyirong sp.nov.(??),P.heishui sp.nov.(??),P.jinchuan sp.nov.(??),P.lhatog sp.nov.(?),P.miero sp.nov.(??),P.muli sp.nov.(??),P.ninglang sp.nov.(?),P.nyalam sp.nov.(?),P.putou sp.nov.(?),P.sangri sp.nov.(??),P.shigatse sp.nov.(?),P.tengchong sp.nov.(??),P.xiahe sp.nov.(??),P.yejiei sp.nov.(?),P.yele sp.nov.(??),P.zayu sp.nov.(??),P.zhigangi sp.nov.(?);P.daman sp.nov.(?),P.khaptad sp.nov.(?),P.koshi sp.nov.(?),P.mechi sp.nov.(??),P.mude sp.nov.(?),P.phaplu sp.nov.(??),P.rara sp.nov.(?);P.miandam sp.nov.(??),P.naran sp.nov.(?).This paper described the new species in detail,and provided 58 plates of 229 diagnostic figures,one key and one distribution map of them.In addition,the ecological photos and a simplified phylogenetic tree of the spiders are also given.
