With the rapid development of China’s economy,the construction of major cities is in full swing,which makes a huge gap in the demand for all kinds of ores,and the scale of mining is becoming larger and larger.In the process of open-pit excavation,with the continuous increase of mining scale and mining depth,the impact of engineering activities on the local geological environment will be greater and greater,which will lead to the increasingly poor stability of mining pit slope,and the probability of landslide and other accidents will also increase.At the same time,the mine after mining lacks effective protection,which not only brings instability risks,but also brings many environmental problems,causing great damage to the natural ecological balance.Based on the natural restoration project of jinguoshan mine in Yantai Economic Development Zone,this paper analyzes the stability of the mine slope in the treatment area by using the methods of field investigation,theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,and designs the restoration scheme according to the analysis results.The main contents and achievements of this paper are as follows(1)The geological survey was carried out in the treatment area,the lithology of the pit area and the occurrence of each slope section were measured,the detailed data of geological conditions were obtained,and the influencing factors of slope stability in the treatment area were analyzed to determine the possible failure forms of the slope.(2)The stereographic projection method is used to analyze the slope stability with developed discontinuities,and the discontinuities or combination of discontinuities that may cause sliding are determined.Then,the limit equilibrium method is used to analyze the slope that may slide due to the development of structural plane.The safety factor of slope under natural and earthquake conditions is calculated respectively,and the influence of structural plane on the stability of treatment area is summarized.(3)The typical section is selected,and the numerical simulation analysis is carried out by FLAC3 D software,and the safety factor is calculated by strength reduction method.Using the advantage of numerical simulation,the failure surface of the slope is predicted,and the change of stress and strain of the slope section is analyzed when the slope section is unstable.(4)The restoration scheme of the treatment area is designed.The support scheme of unstable slope is designed,and the accuracy of the design is verified by numerical simulation.According to the geological characteristics and engineering needs of each slope section,the design of terrain restoration scheme and site greening scheme is carried out.
