In this study,by means of literature,Google Earth software and outcrop anatomy,a set of sedimentary database integrating the research results of Fluvial fan has been established.Through database query,statistics and analysis functions,comprehensive analytic fluvial fan of modern graphic data and the vertical evolution of ancient,for the Fluvial fan of quantitative research is to provide comprehensive geological data.In this paper,the modern fluvial fan of the Tabu River in Inner Mongolia is selected as the case study object.Three research methods,including literature survey,Google Earth observation software and outcrop dissection,are comprehensively used to carry out in-depth research on the Tabu River fluvial fan.The feasibility of the three research methods is proved,which provides a reliable geological basis for the construction of fluvial fan sedimentary database.At present,the data sources of fluvial fan deposition database include 82 relevant literatures since 2010,200 satellite points and 1 outcrop.The structure design and data storage of the fluvial fan sedimentary database were completed by summarizing and sorting out the geological data of fluvial fan.The structure design was based on the relationship of case,subset,architecture and facies level.According to the statistical analysis of case – architecture-facies data,the results show that there are nine typical quantitative characteristics of fluvial fan.The development of fluvial fan is controlled by many factors,such as climate,tectonic setting,topography,provenance supply and catchment area.Based on the research results of fluvial fan,a quantitative sedimentary model is established.Based on the morphology of channel and fan body,the fluvial fan can be divided into 12 types,of which 6 are the main types.There are significant differences in plane geometric parameters and genetic mechanism between fluvial fan and other similar sedimentary bodies.The fluvial fan has a large area of contiguous fluvial sedimentary areas,and the channel sand body deposits and backshore deposits alternate with each other,which can form good oil and gas reservoirs.The advantages of fluvial fan deposition database are mainly reflected in three aspects:standardized information management,database logic design based on geological theory and quantitative application analysis of fluvial fan,which fill the blank in the field of fluvial fan quantitative research and provide important research ideas and methods for the quantitative research of fluvial fan.
