Study On The Soil Taxonomy Of Typical Artificial And Technic Soil

The preciousness of soil resources is self-evident.With the development of society,the influence of human beings on the soil is increasing.Activities such as human-altered and human-transported may change the shape,composition and properties of the soil.However,Chinese Soil Taxonomy has not yet established a soil classification unit with technical characteristics affected by the background of urbanization and industrialization.Therefore,the soil taxonomy of soils with technical characteristics has both theoretical and practical significance.This study selected 26 test soil profiles from Beijing,Hebei,Henan and Guangdong that may have technical characteristics.Based on the morphological properties and physicochemical properties of the test soil profiles,they were sorted in attribution in Chinese Soil Taxonomy,World reference bsae for soil resources and US Soil Taxonomy.The attribution results of the tested soil profiles showed that CST could not assign such soils to a suitable location,and could not effectively reflect the technical characteristics of such soil in soil classification name.Therefore,this study combined with the test soil profile,on the basis of the current Chinese Soil Taxonomy,developed three sets of proposed revisions.In the first plan,in terms of classification unit,it is recommended to set up a Technic Anthrosols Suorder under the Anthrosols Order,which is further divided into four Group: Remain-Technic Anthrosols,Reconstructi-Technic Anthrosols,Constructi-Technic Anthrosols and Damagi-Technic Anthrosols.In the second plan,in terms of classification unit,it is recommended to set up a Technic Anthrosols Suorder under the Anthrosols Order,which is further divided into four Group: Reli-Technic Anthrosols,Blocki-Technic Anthrosols,Transporti-Technic Anthrosols,Intrusi-Technic Anthrosols.In the third plan,in terms of classification unit,it is recommended to set up a Artificialic Anthrosols Suborder under the Anthrosols Order,which is further divided into two Group: Alteri-Artificialic Anthrosols,TransportiArtificialic Anthrosols.Each Group is divided into certain Subgroup.And it is recommended to add Artificialic Technical Soil Family,including Relics,Reconstruction,etc.In terms of the Diagnostic horizons,it is recommended to add a new Manufactured horizon,which is defined as "Soil horizon with technical characteristics formed under the influence of human non-agricultural activities",and corresponding quantitative conditions should be drawn up;In terms of the Diagnostic characteristics,it is suggested that the original definition of Anthroturbic layer should be supplemented with "or have certain characteristics of human non-agricultural activities in soil layer",and corresponding quantitative conditions should also be supplemented.In addition,it is suggested to add "T" occurrence layer symbol to reflect the influence of technical characteristic in soil description.The principles of relevant sampling standards are also proposed for follow-up revision.The test profiles was re-attributed according to the three suggested classification schemes.The attribution results show that the proposed scheme three can effectively reflect the human-altered and human-transported characteristics of the tested sections in the classification results;It is suggested that scheme 3 can effectively reflect the migration and disturbance characteristics of the tested profiles in the classification results;In the trend of classification,it can be in line with international standards;In terms of Chinese characteristics,it can show the history and culture of our country;At the level of classification,it can reflect the different characteristics of the tested profiles from Suborder to Soil Family;In terms of utilization effect,it can reflect the human negative effect;In addition,the change degree of the framework is small,which can better reflect the technical characteristics of the tested soil profiles.It can provide data and suggestions for revising and improving the fourth edition of the Chinese Soil Taxonomy.
