Due to the advantages of low energy consumption,low cost and high recovery rate,forward osmosis(FO)membrane separation technology is widely used in seawater desalination,brine water desalination,sewage treatment and other fields.However,the development and application of forward osmosis are restricted by the existence of concentration polarization,the selection of absorbent solution and the membrane fouling problem.Therefore,chemical modification of FO membrane is needed to improve its structural performance.In this study,MIL-100(Fe)and MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2with strong stability and large specific surface area were synthesized,and MIL-100(Fe),ZrO2,MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2were used as modification additives to improve the structure and performance of membranes.MIL-100(Fe)nanomaterials were successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by XRD,FTIR,TEM and EDS.Mixed matrix FO membrane was prepared by using MIL-100(Fe)as blend additive;The effects of additive MIL-100(Fe)and pore-forming agent 2-Hydroxypropanoic acid content,casting solution temperature and coagulation bath temperature on the properties of the membrane were discussed,the optimal preparation process parameters of the membrane were determined;The structure of CA/MIL-100(Fe)mixed matrix FO membrane was characterized by FTIR,SEM,contact Angle and AFM under the optimal preparation conditions;The properties of CA FO membrane and CA/MIL-100(Fe)mixed matrix FO membrane were analyzed under the optimal preparation conditions,the results showed that the selectivity and permeability of CA/MIL-100(Fe)mixed matrix FO membrane were optimized.ZrO2was characterized by FTIR,TEM and EDS;ZrO2was used as blend additive to prepare CA/ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane;The effects of additive ZrO2content and pore-forming agent 2-Hydroxypropanoic acid content,casting solution temperature and coagulation-bath temperature on the performance of the mixed matrix FO membrane were discussed,the optimal preparation process parameters of CA/ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane were determined;The structure of CA/ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane was characterized by FTIR,SEM,contact Angle and AFM under the optimal preparation conditions;Under the optimal preparation conditions,the properties of the prepared CA FO membrane and CA/ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane were analyzed,the results showed that the selectivity and permeability of the CA/ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane are optimized.MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2nanomaterials were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by XRD,FTIR,TEM and EDS;Mixed matrix FO membrane was prepared using MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2as blend additive.The effects of additive MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2and pore-forming agent 2-Hydroxypropanoic acid content,casting solution temperature and coagulation-bath temperature on the properties of the membrane were discussed,the optimum preparation process parameters of CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2were determined;The structure of CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane was characterized by FTIR,SEM,contact Angle and AFM under the optimal preparation conditions;The performance of CA FO membrane and CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane were analyzed under the optimal preparation conditions,the results show that the selectivity and permeability of CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane are better than those of CA and other two kinds of mixed matrix FO membrane.Desalination applications of HTI commercial membrane and prepared CA FO membrane,CA/MIL-100(Fe)mixed matrix FO membrane,CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane were studied,and the changes of water flux and salt cut ratio of FO membrane in the application of seawater desalination were studied.The water flux of the four kinds of FO membranes prepared was significantly higher than that of the HTI commercial membranes,but the water flux stability of the HTI commercial membranes was significantly better than that of the four kinds of FO membranes prepared.The stability of salt cutting rate of HTI commercial membrane is obviously better than that of four kinds of FO membrane prepared.Among the four kinds of FO membranes prepared,the combined water flux salt cutting rate of the mixed matrix forward osmosis membrane is significantly higher than that of the CA FO membrane.Among them,the CA/MIL-100(Fe)@ZrO2mixed matrix FO membrane has the best water flux and salt cutting rate,and the stability is relatively good.
