The Hongmeiling-Changyuanwu district is located in the middle of the Taqian-Fuchun metallogenic belt,northeastern Jiangxi Province.In recent years,some gold deposits were found in the area,which implys that this area has great potential for prospecting.In the present paper,studies on geophysical feature,geochemical exploration,magmatic rocks,and deposit geology,ore-controlling structure have been carried out,and prospecting target has been predicted.The Hongmeiling-Changyuanwu district is in the east part of the Qin-hang junction zone where Yangtze plate and Cathaysian plate were sutured after their collision.Ground magnetic survey and stream sediments and soil geochemistry has been carried out in this study.6 geophysical and geochemical anomalies,which include 2 Class A anomalies and 4 Class B anomalies has been determined.The anomalies are in good accordance with the known deposits or ore showing,which shows that geochemical anomaly can be used as an important indicator for guiding exploration.The study of petrography and geochemistry of granite porphyry in the region shows that the granite porphyry is of high silicon and isperaluminous and highly differentiated S-type granite.The formation age of the granite is 162.17±0.81 Ma,which is consistent with the time(170-150 Ma)of petrogenic and metallogenic events of the Taqian-Fuchun metallogenic belt.This paper studies the geological characters of deposits and the ore-controlling structures draws a conclusion that gold mineralization is mainly controlled by the ductile shearing,and summarizes the three-level tectonics-controlled mineralization model concerning metallogenic belt,deposit and ore bodies in the area.Basde on research on characteristics of geophysical and geochemical anomalies,metallogenic geological conditions and ore-controlling structure,a gold metallogenic model is preliminarily summarized,and 6 gold-polymetallic deposit prospecting targets are determined,including 3 Category A targets,1 Category B target are and 2 Category C targets.It is concluded that this area shows a good prospecting potentiality for gold.
