Abstract/Summary:
A suction anchor is a piece of marine equipment that utilises the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the anchor tube to push the anchor body into the sea floor and fix it there,providing a reliable working platform for complex offshore operations.In the early stage of suction anchor sinking,no electronic equipment was installed,and information such as anchor drop speed,penetration speed and pressure inside and outside the anchor had to be obtained by divers using physical methods,which caused problems such as low efficiency and inaccurate anchor lowering position.In this paper,a real-time monitoring system for the sinking of suction anchors is designed,taking into account the current status and trends of domestic and international research on suction anchor technology.The system is divided into three parts: water,underwater and acoustic communication machine.The underwater part includes underwater measurement and control centre,communication module,dip detection,meridian detection,pressure detection,altimeter,underwater LED dot matrix screen drive module,LED dot matrix screen and other circuit modules,which are responsible for underwater sensor switch control,underwater LED screen control,and real-time sensor data collection and processing.The above-water section includes interface modules,deck communication machines,and an on-board computer.The above-water section is responsible for displaying the underwater data on the on-board interface and providing virtual keys for the above-water construction team to control the system in real time.The acoustic communicator acts as the connection hub between above and below the water and is responsible for sending data from the upper unit to the lower unit and obtaining data from the lower unit for display in the upper unit.The system also realises high-precision display of dip angle,realises high-precision display of pressure difference between inside and outside the anchor,display of data such as pressure difference and falling speed via underwater LED dot matrix screen,underwater data storage and water data storage,etc.The system achieves more efficient and stable objectives.The thesis deals in turn with the four aspects of overall concept development,hardware design,software design and system commissioning.
