Snow-capped mountains and glaciers are widely distributed in the source of the Three Rivers,and it is one of the concentrated distribution of glaciers in China.With dense rivers,numerous lakes and swamps,it is the world's highest elevation,largest area,and the most abundant wetland types.Due to global warming,the melting of glaciers and frozen soil has produced a series of secondary disasters that threaten the survival of humans and animals.At the same time,the survival of organisms cannot do without the support of water resources.It is becoming more and more urgent to master the changing laws of glaciers and water.It is also more and more important to minimize the impact of various disasters on organisms while making rational use.This article intends to study the changes in glaciers and water areas in the source of the Three Rivers in the past 30 years,and the factors that cause changes in glaciers and water areas to lay the foundation for future disaster prevention,environmental governance and development planning in the source of the Three Rivers.This paper uses Landsat series data in 1989,1999,2009,and 2019 to automatically extract glaciers and water in the source of the Three Rivers through a sample-based object-oriented information extraction method.And combined with the second Chinese glacier catalogue data and visual interpretation to revise the extraction results.To study the law of changes in the area of glaciers and water,and the relationship between area changes and temperature and precipitation.Explore the main influencing factors of glaciers and water area changes.The following results have been obtained through research and analysis:1.Through the calculation of the glacier area,it is found that the overall glacier area has been declining in the past 30 years.However,the rate of change of glacier area from 1989 to 2019 is gradually decreasing,that is,the degree of change of glacier area in the source of the Three Rivers is gradually decreasing.The change of glacier area is affected by temperature and precipitation,and there is an obvious negative correlation between glacier area and annual average temperature and annual average precipitation.Comparing the Pearson correlation coefficient,it is found that temperature is the main factor affecting the change of glacier area.2.The calculation results of the water area show that the water area has gradually decreased in the past 30 years.From 1989 to 2019,the change in the area of water first decreased and then increased,and the rate of change in the area of water reached the maximum between 2009 and 2019.There is an obvious negative correlation between the water area and the annual average temperature,while the negative correlation with the annual average precipitation is weak.Therefore,the main influencing factor for the change of water area is temperature.
