Ionomer-metal composite(IPMC)is a kind of electrically actuated flexible and intelligent driving material.It has many advantages such as simple driving mode,low driving voltage,fast response rate,dry working environment,and light weight.It is currently more suitable for the development of new types A class of materials for smart drives.However,although IPMC-based smart materials have many advantages,they also face problems such as difficulty in improving response rate and deformation amount at the same time,insufficient driving force,and single deformation mode,which limits the practical application of IPMC smart materials to a certain extent.Therefore,optimizing the functional indicators of IPMC smart drive materials and preparing high-performance smart drive materials and smart devices is the key to promoting its efficient application in various fields.Based on this,this thesis takes IPMC flexible smart materials as the research object,through its interface and material design,greatly improves the original functional properties of the material,and develops a series of new IPMC bionic smart materials,aiming to break through the current technical bottleneck of IPMC smart materials,To carry out the research and development of high-performance IPMC bionic smart driver,and provide new ideas and new ways for the preparation and application of green,low-consumption,high-efficiency bionic smart driver.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Using the commercial Nafion 117 film as the ion exchange polymer film,and innovatively using isopropanol-assisted electroless plating technology,successfully prepared the IPMC smart material with high specific surface area Pt electrode.The introduction of isopropanol not only enables the prepared Pt electrode to have a uniformly dispersed fold structure and increase the specific surface area of the Pt electrode,but also can form larger ion clusters inside the Nafion film,making the prepared IPMC smart material more effective The large specific capacitance is very conducive to the diffusion of hydrated cations in the Nafion film.Driven by DC voltage,the tip displacement of IPMC can reach 35.3 mm,which is 1.4 times the free length of25 mm,and the bending strain is 0.79%.Driven by the voltage,the IPMC smart material can respond to the changing frequency of the AC voltage without delay,and produce a large deformation displacement,which can reach more than 2 mm at a frequency of 2Hz.(2)The Pd/Pt composite electrode IPMC was prepared,and Pd was introduced as the electrode buffer layer,which effectively improved the capacitance performance and driving force of IPMC,and at the same time had excellent deformation performance and response speed.Under 4 V DC voltage,the displacement deformation reaches 36.5mm,which is 1.46 times the free length,and the bending strain is 0.82%;the AC voltage displacement response is similar to that of the high specific surface area Pt electrode IPMC;the bending deformation of the Pd/Pt composite electrode IPMC smart material can It produces a large driving force.Under the driving of 5 V DC voltage,the maximum blocking force generated by the tip is 33 m N,which is equivalent to 4.2 MPa,which is greatly improved compared to the pure Pt electrode IPMC.(3)Inspired by the various forms of movement of natural plants,the bionic directional stripe structure is introduced into the IPMC smart material,and the Nafion substrate membrane interface is structurally modified to increase the specific surface area of the electrode interface.The prepared IPMC driver obtains good capacitance performance.The specific capacitance of IPMC with bionic structure is 110 m F g-1,which is 1.5 times that of IPMC without bionic structure(73 m F g-1);under the modification of bionic structure,IPMC smart materials can achieve more It is a complex multi-dimensional spiral deformation.(4)Based on different types of IPMC smart materials,a series of bionic smart drivers have been prepared.The IPMC bionic manipulator arm can withstand objects up to 20 times the weight;the excellent conductivity of IPMC electrodes enables it to be used as a flexible switch in logic circuits;The opening and closing of IPMC flowers and the flapping behavior of bionic IPMC bees realize IPMC's imitation of plants and animals;IPMC manipulators realize the grasping,release and transfer of heavy objects;IPMC bionic crawling bipedal and quadruped crawlers both can crawl forward under the drive of AC voltage,with the average speed of 0.44 mm s-1 and 0.32 mm s-1,respectively.
