It is concluded that shrub-grass complex system is an effective measure to control grassland degradation based on the comparison of various grassland degradation control models.On the one hand,shrub can effectively inhibit the potential desertification somewhere.On the other hand,shrubs can affect the organic carbon content of soil.However,there are few studies on the soil organic carbon(SOC)content of shrub-grass complex system in China,and the relevant studies did not pay much attention to the estimation of grassland SOC content.After field sampling in Siziwang,the spatial difference of SOC density summarized by the Kriging difference in this study and compare the SOC density from grassland with the SOC density under shrub-grass complex system.The results showed that: 1)the SOC density of 0-30 cm grassland soil and shrub soil in Siziwang increased with the deepening of soil layer.2)The distribution of SOC in the study area was spatially different and showed a decreasing trend from southeast to northwest.It is consistent with spatial elevation pattern.The variation trend of SOC content in the three layers is relatively consistent,which reflects the continuity of soil organic carbon in space.3)The shrub-grass systems of this project mainly distributed from 1200 meters to 2000 meters,and the highest SOC content is located in the area above the elevation of 1900 meters.The topographic factors have a significant impact on the SOC content.4)Under the influence of precipitation,the soil organic carbon density under shrub part significantly changed,especially in the 0-20 cm soil layer,the SOC content significantly decreased with the increase of precipitation.The soil organic carbon of grassland did not change under the influence of precipitation.5)Land use type significantly affected the soil organic carbon density of 10-30 cm,in which the SOC density of natural grassland was the highest,the soil organic carbon density of unused land was the lowest,and the SOC density of returning farmlands to grasslands was in the middle.It is possible to conclude that the artificial introduction of shrub to be the shrub-grass system could not effectively increase the content of SOC content in this region.7)Considering the difference of topography,precipitation,land use pattern and soil type,Geographical detector method is used to prove that temperature and land use pattern have explanatory power for the distribution of soil organic carbon density in shrub-grassland system in Siziwang,and the explanatory power of the interaction between the two factors is 18.34%.
