Safety is the most important consideration for a dam,and reliability analysis is an important way to evaluate safety.In view of the shortcomings of traditional reliability calculation methods,this paper presents a reliability calculation method based on WOA-SVM response surface method,which is verified by comparison with other methods and applied.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Aiming at the reliability calculation method of explicit function function,it is impossible to calculate the reliability of functional functions of complex structures such as dams that are highly nonlinear and often under recessive conditions.The commonly used polynomial response surface method has low fitting accuracy.After comparing the advantages and disadvantages of several response surface methods,the support vector machine(SVM)response surface method with higher fitting accuracy and fewer samples is used instead of the polynomial response surface method.The example shows that the fitting accuracy of the function is significantly improved.(2)Construct the SVM fitting model,and use the quadratic programming problem to explicitly express the relational expression of the SVM fitting model.The orthogonal design test method produces fewer samples and is more representative;the radial basis kernel function has a good degree of fit and stronger generalization ability,which is more suitable for building SVM fitting models.(3)In order to further improve the accuracy of the SVM fitting model,this article uses the Whale Algorithm(WOA)to optimize the kernel function parameters,compile MATLAB programs,and compare with the commonly used SSO model optimized by the PSO particle swarm optimization algorithm and GA genetic optimization algorithm.The results show that the predicted value of the SVM model after optimizing the parameters of the WOA algorithm in this paper is closer to the calculated value of the finite element.(4)In view of the lack of common explicit reliability calculation methods,this article introduces the WOA algorithm and the improved whale algorithm(BWOA)into the reliability calculation,compiles the MATLAB calculation model,and compares the calculation examples with the commonly used reliability calculation methods.The results show that the calculation results of this method are closer to the results of JC method.(5)compare and verify the woa-svm response surface method with Monte Carlo method,SVM response surface combined with JC method,and the function function calculated by mechanics of materials combined with JC method,which shows that the reliability value of this method is simple,efficient and more close to that calculated by mechanics of materials combined with JC method,and apply this method to Pengshui Hydropower Station in Chongqing In the calculation of dam reliability.
