Fiber Optic Separator is a special equipment used to manufacture fiber supply ring.Its key technologies mainly include tension control technology and automatic wire arrangement technology.The fiber supply ring is the core material for manufacturing the fiber ring which is the core component of Fiber Optic Gyroscope.Compared with other gyroscopes,the fiber optic gyroscope has the advantages of simple structure,low cost,stable performance,etc.Now it has been widely used in industrial,civil and other fields.Therefore,the Fiber Optic Separator as a material supply equipment for Fiber Optic Gyroscope production also has a very broad market prospect.At present,the research on Optical Fiber Winding Equipment at home and abroad is mainly focused on the Optical Fiber Ring Winding Machine,and there is little research on Fiber Optic Separator is less.According to the production process of fiber ring,he quality of the fiber supply ring has a greater impact on the winding of the fiber ring.Therefore,in order to improve the quality and ring forming efficiency of the optical fiber ring,the research on tension control technology and automatic wire arrangement technology of the Fiber Optic Separator is also very important.Therefore,based on the research and analysis of domestic and foreign optic fiber winding technology,this paper develops a Fiber Optic Separator with the core of the fiber releasing unit,the tension control unit,and the fiber receiving and automatic wire arranging unit.At the same time,the control system is designed,and the prototype is manufactured and tested.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the winding process of the fiber supply ring,and drawing on the design experience of similar equipment at home and abroad,the overall plan of the Fiber Optic Separator is formulated,respectively carry out mechanical structure design and hardware selection for the fiber releasing unit,the correction unit,the wiping unit,the tension control unit,the length counting unit,the static elimination unit,and the fiber receiving and automatic wire arranging unit.(2)According to the process requirements of the Fiber Optic Separator.the reason and control mechanism of tension in the fiber winding process are analyzed,and the tension control system including PID controller,tension sensor,fiber releasing servo motor and fiber receiving servo motor is designed.At the same time,in order to meet the requirements of automatic wire arranging,a set of semi-closed loop control system for automatic wire arranging is designed,and the control process of the system is analyzed.(3)Complete the overall design of the control system of Fiber Optic Separator.In response to the winding process requirements of the fiber supply ring,a control system scheme with the main control board as the lower computer,the touch screen as the upper computer,and the servo motor as the actuator are built,and the software system design and the human-computer interaction interface design are carried out.(4)The prototype was built,and the orthogonal experiment of fiber separating and the experiment of automatic wire arranging were carried out.The orthogonal test results of optical fiber separating show that the order of the primary and secondary factors that affect the tension fluctuation during the fiber winding process is rotation speed,set tension,fiber diameter.At the condition of optimal level combination that rotation speed n is 155r/min,fiber diameter d is 0.1mm,set tension is 5g,the tension fluctuation range during fiber winding is-0.21g to+0.2g,and the tension fluctuation is better than 0.5g.The results of automatic wire arranging test show that there is no obvious overlap or skip in the winding process,and the fiber distribution is uniform.The experiment verifies that the Fiber Optic Separator developed in this paper has better tension control and automatic wire arranging effects,and meet the expected production capacity requirements...
