Switched systems is essentially a kind of special hybrid systems, stability problem of the system has been a research topic in related fields. In this paper, the stability problem of discrete-time switched systems is considered. In chapter 1,the relevant research background and some of the preliminary knowledge needed to carry out this study are given. In chapter 2,stability problem of discrete-time switched systems with only two modes is considered.Based on the improved mode-dependent average dwell time strategy and multiple Lyapunov functions method,a new stability criteria of discrete switched systems is obtained.Compared with the existing results, the obtained results have lower conser-vatism and better practicability.Furthermore, the controller design scheme of the linear nonautonomous systems based on LMI is given. In chapter 3,stability problem of discrete-time switched systems with multiple modes is discussed.Firstly, stability conditions for the studied system whose all modes are stable are obtained based on weighted average dwell time strategy.Furthermore,we extend the weighted switching idea to the slow and fast weighted average dwell time for stable and unstable modes, respectively, combining with multiple discontinuous Lyapunov functions approach,a new stability criteria of discrete-time switched systems with some modes unstable is given.
