The distribution of loess in Yili area is extremely widespread.Due to the influence of topography, geomorphology, and hydrometeorological conditions, the loess landslide is extremely developed, which directly or indirectly burys villages, blocks traffic, and causes serious casualties. In order to reduce the adverse impact of loess landslides on farmers and herdsmen in this area, research on loess landslides in this area is imperative. Therefore, this paper selects the upstream landslide of Haindesayi mudstone ditch in Almalle village,Almalle town,Xinyuan county,Yili region as the research area.Based on field investigations and laboratory tests, its physical and mechanical properties are analyzed first. Then, analyze the sliding mechanism of the landslide in the study area, then analyze the stability of the landslide, and finally put forward the control plan. The results achieved are as follows:(1)In order to study the characteristics of loess in Yili area, the loess in the study area was sampled and soil mechanics tests were conducted, and the physical properties and mechanical properties of the loess in the area were mainly obtained. The results are as follows:The average moisture content?of the landslide landslide is 28.59%;the average value of natural density?is 1.90 g/cm3,and the average value of dry density?d is 1.48 g/cm3;the specific gravity of soil particles is between 2.70 and 2.71,The average value is 2.70;the average porosity e is 0.83,medium density;the average value of the liquid limit?L is 36.73%,the average value of the plastic limit?P is 24.38%;the optimal water content is 24.78%,and the maximum dry density is 1.88g/cm3The compression coefficient is 0.85 MPa-1,the compression index is 0.424,and the compression modulus is 1.968 MPa-1,all of which are highly compressive soils; The cohesion of undisturbed loess and saturated loess is 44.174k Pa and 18.99 k Pa,respectively, and the internal friction angles are 13.588°and 11.277°.The shear stress increases with increasing vertical load.(2)During the early field survey in the study area, the landslide body in the study area was combined with factors such as geomorphology, geological structure, hydrogeological conditions, geotechnical types and their physical properties, engineering geological conditions and spatial distribution characteristics, and meteorological and hydrological factors. The formation characteristics and deformation characteristics of the landslide are analyzed. The conclusions are as follows:the characteristics of the loess in the study area are the main reasons for landslides in the area. When it encounters rain or other external water bodies, its shear strength decreases rapidly, and the landforms and spatial distribution characteristics of the study area are likely to cause slope deformation. The unconformable contact between the loess and the underlying bedrock in the study area also provided a favorable factor for the formation of the landslide. The landslide in the study area was mainly induced by the precipitation and snow melting;the analysis of the landslide change characteristics, the landslide failure mode was mainly"Creeze-sliding",the landslide body disintegrates and accumulates in the channel to block the river, raises the water level, enhances the hydrolytic effect of the water body on the rock and soil at the foot of the slope, and further induces the slide of the landslide,forming"soak-slide block-soak"The positive circulation effect of the landslide instability induced the instability of the landslide.(3)First,after a field survey, combine the topography and geomorphology, geological structure, hydrogeological conditions, and rock and soil types to conduct a simple qualitative analysis of the landslide stability.Secondly, use Geo Studio2007software based on the limit equilibrium method and numerical analysis method.Among them, the SLOPE/W module quantitatively calculated the landslide body under different working conditions, and concluded that the landslide in the study area was stable under natural conditions, and unstable under heavy rain conditions and earthquakes and heavy rain conditions.(4)Based on the analysis of the landslide body formation characteristics and landslide mechanism in the study area, combined with the calculation results of the landslide stability, the corresponding preventive measures are proposed for the landslide body in the study area.
