The Damiaogou-Caishenmiao area in Xunyang County,Shaanxi province is located in the interlocking area of the Tiefosi-Lvhe fault and Yuehe fault in the east section Baishuijiang-Baihe fold bundle in the Indosinian fold belt of South Qinling.Located in the east section of the Lanmugou gold deposit.In this paper,the characteristics of soil geochemical anomalies in Damiaogou-Caishenmiao area of Xunyang county are analyzed,the anomalies are screened and classified,the causes of the anomalies are explained,the indication effect of geochemical anomalies in the study area is expounded,and the favorable metallogenic section is delineated and the metallogenic prediction is carried out by analogy with the characteristics of geochemical anomalies in the west adjacent Lanmugou area.The main achievements are as follows:(1)Because the lithology of Silurian strata is relatively simple and suffered from shallow regional metamorphism,it was considered to have little relationship with mineralization before1990s.However,with the deepening of geological work,a large number of rock gold deposits(points)have been found in the Lower Silurian black rock series in the area,which is of reference significance for the gold exploration in the study area.(2)The gold mineralization of Silurian strata is very common in the region.The high gold abundance is the source bed,which can provide rich material sources for the formation of ore bodies.The faults and folds at all levels are the channels of hydrothermal migration and the places of mineral precipitation.(3)The characteristics of soil gold geochemical anomalies in Damiaogou-Caishenmiao area and Lanmugou area in the West are similar,which are mainly controlled by the strata.If the abnormal concentration value is high and the cause is mylonite quartz biotite schist,then this kind of anomaly should be paid more attention,and the anomaly may be the near ore display.(4)The characteristics of gold anomaly and ore in the study area are basically similar to those in the west adjacent Lanmugou area,but there are some differences.Compared with the characteristics of gold anomaly in the two areas,the concentration of gold anomaly in the study area is much lower in the range of 10-20×10-9,which is distributed in the form of scattered flakes and intermittent bands,and the concentration center is not obvious.However,the abnormal concentration value of gold in Lanmugou area is mostly in the range of 20-140×10-9,and the concentration center is obvious,showing a continuous belt,and the concentration center is obvious.There are also differences in the characteristics of gold ores.Compared with the Lanmugou gold deposit,the ore bearing mylonitic quartz biotite schist in the study area is characterized by smaller particle size of biotite,weaker silicification and pyritization.(5)At present,a small-scale gold ore body has been found in the study area under the guidance of geochemical anomalies.Through further work in the extension parts on both sides of the mylonite quartz biotite schist belt,the gold exploration is expected to make a breakthrough.(6)While looking for gold,we should not neglect the prospecting work of other elements.In this area,geochemical rock profile survey has been carried out in the area of Bahe.The results show that there are anomalies such as tungsten,molybdenum and copper.Through further chemical analysis of groove samples taken in the area with high tungsten element anomalies,tungsten mineralization shows that this area should have the potential of polymetallic mineralization.
