Abstract/Summary:
Since entering the 21 st century,the human demand for energy and living space is increasing,while the resources and living space on land have gradually failed to meet the human demand.Therefore,exploitation of marine resources and marine space will be the inevitable trend in the future.Marine structures are carriers for human beings to explore marine space and marine resources.Hydrostatic performance calculation is the basis of marine structure design.Therefore,accurate hydrostatic performance calculation has great significance to human exploration of the ocean.On the basis of previous researches on the static and hydraulic calculation of marine structures,this paper finds that the static and hydraulic performance calculation of a single connected water plane structure is very perfect,but for other types of marine structures,customized calculation is required for specific models.Therefore,this paper proposes a general direct calculation method for hydrostatic calculation of various marine structures.Direct calculation method is based on surface pressure method.It’s core lies in the dispersion of the surface of marine structures.Through calculating the pressure on the submerged surface elements,the static and hydraulic performance of a marine structure can be got.In this paper,the effectiveness and generality of the direct calculation method are verified by comparing the results of the direct calculation method and the analytical method for calculating the hydrostatic performance of various marine structures.Modular floating body has the advantages of high degree of modularization,flexible installation,low construction cost,etc.It has important advantages in the exploitation of marine resources and marine space.Therefore,the static and hydraulic performances of two types of modular floating structure are calculated by direct calculation method,which provide a basis for the subsequent design of similar modular floating structures.
