In the research of MPTCP protocol,the calculation of cache consumption is an important research direction.The cache calculation of traditional MPTCP protocol is directly extended according to the cache calculation formula of TCP protocol,and the cache consumption of MPTCP calculated by the expansion formula will increase with the increase of the number of sub paths,and the final result is much higher than the cache configuration under TCP protocol,which is extremely unreasonable for the resource configuration of network end devices.In view of the current research situation of MPTCP cache consumption,this paper proposes a mathematical method of regression analysis modeling to calculate the size of cache consumption,and then uses the optimal value of cache obtained by modeling to configure the terminal equipment.The experimental results show that the modeling and analysis method is effective,which can greatly save cache resources.At the same time,the optimal congestion control algorithm(because there are many congestion control algorithms)which should be used in the current test scenario is established.The data analysis results of multiple test scenarios show that the regression analysis model method greatly saves the cache consumption.Compared with the traditional calculation formula,scenario 3 saves 5.59 MIB,with a saving rate of 16.56%;scenario 2saves 78.22 MIB,with a saving rate of 57.77%;scenario 1 saves 83.26 MIB,with a saving rate of 63.72%.The verification results of the auto optimized cache configuration program on the nornet test bed show that after using the program to optimize the configuration of cache and congestion control algorithm,it can save a lot of cache consumption and still maintain a high throughput.The main contents of this paper can be summarized as follows:(1)By analyzing the relationship between buffer consumption and throughput data,the independent parameters of the model are determined;(2)Regression analysis modeling method is introduced to build a general model of cache consumption calculation;(3)On the nornet international test bed,select the representative sites,and carefully design the test scenarios to reflect the real operation state of the multi-path transmission Internet;(4)R-square and p-value were used to evaluate the quality of regression model;(5)The coding can automatically optimize the configuration of cache consumption and verify the validity of the model on the nornet test bed.
