In recent years,China has vigorously developed the marine industry.The analysis and research of various phenomena in the ocean have become particularly important.The internal tidal wave is a wave with a tidal cycle that occurs in the ocean.Its fluctuation will affect ocean engineering,underwater navigation and other works.It is very important to investigate the occurrence and strength of internal tidal waves.The South China Sea area has complex sea conditions and is an area where the internal tidal wave is active.Therefore,this article selects the South China Sea area as the key research area to discuss the internal tidal wave phenomenon.First,the background and significance of the internal tide wave analysis in the South China Sea are introduced.The current situation at home and abroad of the internal tide wave is briefly described,and the reanalysis data are used to discuss the internal tide wave,then the research status of global marine reanalysis products is introduced.Secondly,the methods of extracting the internal tidal wave information based on mooring observation data and ocean reanalysis data are studied respectively.Through comparison experiments,the feasibility and effectiveness of extracting and separating tides based on ocean reanalysis data are verified.On this basis,using the reanalysis data,the tide wave information in the South China Sea was extracted by separating the positive pressure and oblique pressure tides,further verifying the feasibility of the internal tide wave research based on marine reanalysis data.Thirdly,the spatial characteristics of tidal waves in the South China Sea are analyzed.Based on the ocean reanalysis data,the distribution of internal tidal waves in the northern and southern South China Sea is analyzed.The vertical distribution characteristics of the main components of the internal tidal wave were analyzed.On the basis of this,the principle of extraction of the inner-tidal wave signal on the sea surface is studied,and the influence of the inner-tidal wave on the sea surface height in the South China Sea is analyzed.Finally,based on the ocean reanalysis data,the time-varying characteristics of the internal tide wave were analyzed from two different time scales,long time and short time.For the analysis over a longer period of time,the length of time is segmented according to the positions of the isotherms at different times,and a method for analyzing the time variation characteristics of the internal tide wave by the amplitude of the underwater isotherm fluctuation is designed.Variations over time.At the same time,the variation of the internal tidal wave in one day was analyzed through the vertical distribution of the baroclinic flow at different times in a short time.
