The rapid development of aquaculture in the coastal zone has brought great economic benefits. But at the same time,it also makes the coastal marine ecological environment face major threats. In order to scientifically manage and plan the development of the marine aquaculture industry in the coastal zone,it is necessary to timely and accurately obtain information on the spatial distribution of the aquaculture areas and the growth change of the aquaculture types.Traditional information acquisition and monitoring methods are time-consuming and laborious, and it is difficult to ensure real-time and achieve a wide range of monitoring purposes.Remote sensing observation technology has the characteristics of wide coverage area, short period and low cost.It is an effective mean for real-time quantitative observation of sea for coastal zone aquaculture. In this study, the spectral characteristics analysis and classification study of seawater used for coastal aquaculture were caried out based on multi-source remote sensing data.On this basis,a remote sensing estimation model for the yield of algae culture types in the study area was constructed to realize the remote sensing estimation of the annual production of algae culture types. The main research work and the results are as follows:(1))Based on the measured hyperspectral data and GF-5 data, the reflectance curves of different seawater bodies for aquaculture were constructed.By analyzing the spectral characteristics of different seawater used for aquaculture,it is found that the reflectance curves of cultured algae and cultured shellfish rise first and then decrease as the wavelength increases, and the peak band appears in the green band. The difference in spectral characteristics is mainly reflected in the blue-green band, the spectral reflectance of cultured shellfish is bigger than that of cultured algae. And in other bands, the reflectance curves of the two was almost coincided.(2)Based on the multi-source Landsat8 data, time series curves of different aquaculture seawater bodies were constructed.By analyzing these time series curves,it is found that the sensitive growth period of cultivated algae and cultured shellfish in the time series is concentrated from February to April every year.In these three months, the difference between cultivated algae and cultured shellfish is relatively large.(3)Based on the GF-1 image, discriminant functions for extracting different types of seawater used for aquaculture was constructed. The classification.of aquaculture types was realized by using discriminant functions and object-oriented classification. This method has a higher classification accuracy than the traditional classification method in the classification of seawater used for aquaculture.Especially in the identification of cultured shellfish, the accuracy of this method is much improved compared with traditional methods.(4)Based on the spectral characteristics analysis and classification study of different seawater used for aquaculture,a yield model of cultured algae was constructed, and the relative error of the estimation results was about 10%.In this study, the spectral and time series characteristics of seawater used for aquaculture in shandong province were analyzed based on the multi-source remote sensing data, and the application of remote sensing technology in aquaculture seawater classification and algae yield estimation was discussed.
