With the continuous improvement of wind power technology,wind energy has become one of the most promising power generation methods.Offshore wind power construction has the advantages of large wind energy reserves and low transportation costs,which makes the construction of offshore wind power more and more popular.However,wind is unstable and the characteristics of wind energy are different in different regions,so the evaluation of wind energy resources is of great significance to the construction and development of offshore wind farms.With the development of remote sensing technology in recent years,synthetic aperture radar(SAR)technology provides a new research tool for measuring wind energy resources,and the reversal of offshore wind farm based on SAR images can obtain high-resolution,extensive offshore wind farm data that is not available in traditional ways.As a large coastal province in China,Fujian province has a coastal area of about 136,000 square kilometers,and has great potential for wind energy development.It is one of the most abundant offshore wind energy resources in China and Asia.The large-scale development and construction of offshore wind energy resources plays an extremely important and positive role in optimizing the energy structure and improving the energy self-sufficiency rate in Fujian province.In this paper,two SAR wind direction inversion methods,local gradient method(LG),rapid Fourier transformation(FFT),and three SAR wind speed inversion methods,CMOD4,CMOD5 and CMOD5n are compared to fit the wind energy assessment work in Fujian coastal area.Using 122 Sentinel-1 SAR images from the coastal area of Fujian province from 2015 to 2019,the high-resolution wind field data of 10m,30m and 50m height of coastal sea surface were calculated,and the coastal wind energy resources in Fujian were analyzed from three aspects,spatial and temporal characteristics of wind energy resources,wind energy effectiveness and wind energy stability.In view of the assessment of offshore high-resolution wind energy resources,the results of SAR inversion sea wind field and ERA-interim re-analysis of sea wind field data were gridded,wind energy assessment was carried out with the example of Nanri island and its surrounding sea area,and the wind energy indexes were analyzed from the effective and stability aspects of wind energy reserves.It can provide reference for the development and construction of offshore wind power construction in Fujian province.
