Salicylaldehyde schiff base derivatives have attracted great interest owing to their excellent spectroscopic properties and high selectivity for metal ions.In this paper,two novel fluorescent probes based on salicylaldehyde Schiff base were designed and the their recognition mechanisms were investigated in detail.The main research contents of this dissertation are as follows:1.The principle of fluorescence probe,the trend of research and development for fluorescence probe,particularly schiff base derivatives,and the development trend of gollum fluorescence probe were reviewed and discussed.2.The fluorescence probe,1-fluorescein hydrazide,3-cyanidehydrazide Schiff base,5-chloro triazine,abbreviated as FHCS-Cl was designed and synthesized,and its optical properties were studied.It was found that the fluorescence probe FHCS-Cl was a new type of probe.It possesses very well selective recognition for aluminum ion and zinc ion in ethanol,and the quantitative analysis of aluminum ion with almost negligible interference by zinc ion.By studying the optical properties,the identification of aluminum ions is mainly salicylaldehyde Schiff base chelation,recognition of zinc ions are mainly by blocking the Excited-state intramolecular proton transfer(ESIPT effect)the intense of fluorescence has been enhanced consequently.The mechanism of FHCS-Cl probe was investigated by combination of(1)titration experiment(Job-Plot mapping),(2)infrared spectroscopy,(3)nuclear magnetic data comparison and(4)Theoretical simulation(GAUSSIAN 2009).3.The novel probe,1-Rhodamine hydrazide,3-salicylaldehyde schiff base,5-hydrazine hydrate triazine,abbreviated as RSHT-NH2was designed and synthesized.It was found that the probe molecule RSHT-NH2possesses specific recognition to zinc ion and calcium ion in DMF.By analyzing optical properties,the recognition of zinc ion and calcium ion is mainly through the chelation of salicylaldehyde Schiff base and the inhibition of the fluorescence enhancement caused by double bond isomerism of C=N.And the fluorescence response mechanism was simulated by theoretical calculation at the same time.4.The optical properties of the fluorescent probe RSHT-NH2in acetonitrile were studied.It was found that it possesses high selectivity to calcium ion,besides,it can be used for qualitative and quantitative detection of calcium ion,because of its high sensitivity and selectivity.Because of its wide range(0.01-10?M),low detection limit(7.78×10-9mol L-1),it can be used to carried out quantitative and real-time detection of calcium in drinking water.
