Marriage satisfaction is composed of many factors that predict the length of a marriage, however, these factors impact cultural marriages, such as arranged marriages differently than love marriages. This study examines marriage satisfaction in love and arranged marriages. The survey consists of 20 questions, on a five-point likert scale chosen from The Partner Communication Scale (PCS). There were more women that volunteered to take the survey and the survey consisted of married individuals. Results found that the participants of love marriages were more satisfied with their marriage than those of arranged marriages. For further studies, researchers should incorporate a larger sample size and participants from different cultures.
